XPress AnnotationXPress is our popular annotation and white boarding application. Starting with XPress version2.2 you can create XPress documents using our Mac or Windows version and then open themwith the Android version of the application.

Selecting & Modifying Placed Objects
To select an object after it has been placed on the page use the object/item select tool. Thentap on the object. This will cause the object’s context menu to appear.
For example, here we have opened our document camera (1) from within XPress. Next, we willuse the select object tool (2) and then tap on the camera object to select it (3). This will causethe camera object context menu to be visible (4). Then we can tap on the gear button (5) toopen up additional options for the camera tool. All objects work in a similar way.
When an object has been selected you can use the handles on the outer edge of the object toresize and rotate the object.

Browsing to Select Images & Video from USB Thumb Drive on SimplicityTouch IFP (androidversion of XPress)
You can insert video (MP4) and images (JPG, PNG, GIF) from a USB thumb drive and embedthem into your XPress document.
To do this first be sure the files are located on a USB thumb drive and the thumb drive isinserted into the SimplicityTouch.
Then use the add image or add video tool. This will launch a file browser that will allow you toselect the file from your thumb drive. To find the file on your USB drive Press Home (1), thenRemovables (2), then usb (3) , then sda1 (4), then select your file (it may be in a sub folder) andpress Open File (5).

Browsing to Select Images & Video when running XPress on Windows or OSX
You can insert video (MP4) and images (JPG, PNG, GIF) from a USB thumb drive and embedthem into your XPress document.

Then use the add image or add video tool. This will launch a file browser that will allow you toselect the file from your PC. Browse to the folder on your PC that contains the file then select it(1) and press Open (2).

Add and Remove Pages & other Workbook Options
It is easy to add and remove pages and save your work. Simply swipe from the left or right sideof the screen to reveal the page navigation menu.

Start new workbook.
Open saved workbook.
Save workbook.
Save workbook as new file.
Clone current page.
Delete current page.
Tap on page # to go to that page.
Current page is highlighted.
Tap to add new page.

XPress Annotation - continuedWork in Transparent Mode (only available on XPress for Windows and OS X).
Swipe from the left or right side of the screen to reveal the page navigation menu and then usethe page background menu to change the background from opaque to transparent.

Application Settings. You will leave most of these settings at the default. But if you are onewho like’s to explore you can experiment with the options by swiping from the edge of the pageand then pressing the gear button.

Exiting the Application. For optimal performance it is recommended that you properly exitXPress after you are finished using it. Leaving it running in background can affect overallperformance of the SimplicityTouch.
To exit simply swipe from left or right edge of screen, then click on options gear and then tapthe exit button.
