Manage Studio Accounts You need to create a Studio account before you can log into Studio to access a Session or Project. Creating a New Account You can create accounts for multiple servers within Revu. You can only have one account on a Studio server at any time. This procedure is intended for users who are hosting their own Studio servers. To create an account using Bluebeam Software's open Studio Server, see Create a Bluebeam Studio Server Account. To create a new account on a Studio server: Go to View > Tabs > Studio or press ALT+C to access the Studio tab. 1. Click Settings on the Studio tab. Manage Studio Accounts

You need to create a Studio account before you can log into Studio to access a Session or Project.

Creating a New Account

You can create accounts for multiple servers within Revu. You can only have one account on a Studio

server at any time.

This procedure is intended for users who are hosting their own Studio servers. To create an account

using Bluebeam Software's open Studio Server, see Create a Bluebeam Studio Server Account.

To create a new account on a Studio server:

Go to View > Tabs > Studio or press ALT+C to access the Studio tab.1.

Click Settings on the Studio tab. The Preferences dialog box opens to the Studio

preferences.

Enter the name of the Studio sever in the Server field.5.

If this Studio server has been configured to use Active Directory and you would like to use your

Windows login, select Use Windows Authentication.

The Domain / E-mail field will be automatically populated when this option is

selected.

If this Studio server has not been configured to use Active Directory or if you would prefer to log

in using your email address:

Enter your email address in the Domain / E-mail field.a.

Select Remember password.b.

Enter a password for this Studio account in the Password field.c.

Click OK.

You will receive a verification email after you create the account. Follow the instructions in this email

in order to complete the validation process. You must validate the email address or you will not be

able to continue using the account.

Editing Existing Accounts

You can only have one account on a given Studio server at a time, but the details for an account can

be changed as needed. Some fields (Name and Password) can only be changed while you are logged

into the account.

To manage an existing account:

Go to View > Tabs > Studio or press ALT+C to access the Studio tab.1.

Click Settings on the Studio tab. The Preferences dialog box opens to the Studio

preferences.

Select the desired account and click . The Edit Server dialog box appears.4.

Edit any of the information shown as needed. You must be logged into the account to edit the

following fields:

Name, which shows how your name appears to others when you are logged into

this Studio server.

Password. In order to change your password, click Change Password. You

cannot edit the Password field directly.

Managing Server Accounts

In addition to changing account settings, you can sort Studio accounts to control the order in which

they appear on the Studio tab.

Go to View > Tabs > Studio or press ALT+C to access the Studio tab.1.

Click Settings on the Studio tab. The Preferences dialog box opens to the Studio

preferences.

Click Manage Servers. The Server Profiles dialog box appears.3.

To change an account's settings, see Editing Existing Accounts.4.

To auto-sort Studio server accounts, click and select a sort option:

by Server sorts by server name.

by Email sorts by email address.

To manually sort Studio server accounts, select an account and click to move the account up

in the list or to move it down in the list.

To delete a Studio server account, select the account and click .7.
