• Icons can be appropriately themed (see above)• There are many fonts available• Make sure there is not too much text for a
single page otherwise everything becomes crushed together and it is too daunting for the viewer and also don’t just read from the slide, try to use it as a guide or an outline
• Use comic sans at your own risk• And make sure the text contrasts w/ the BG
Images
• Give the eye a chance to play• But should have something to do with the
content• Trigger your thoughts,
remind you of what you want to say
• Like this reminder that you have 7-10 minutes for your presentation
Media
• You can duplicate your slide and change the content, once you’ve found a combination of text, BG, and overall style that you like
• And remember that no more than 2 min. of your presentation should be media
