Cost: $199.00 + GST + Freight.
Example: The Northland Regional Council Water Use trials at the Mayflower Dairy Farm confirmed that 1.5 million litres of water per season was saved. That equates to 5,000 litres of water per day! Based on the average charge from the Haurakei District Council Water Scheme of $1.40 per 1000 litres, this equates to a
$7.00 daily saving. Based on these calculations the payback of the Hydrofan nozzle would be only 28 days!
NB: these figures are washdown water use savings only - effluent pumping electricity costs, pump wear and tear, and decreased effluent storage requirements are extra to this so payback time may be even less. Irrigation times will also decrease!
