1. Muhlenbergia capillaris ‘Fast Forward’ Emerald Coast Growers‘Fast Forward’ begins flowering in August or late July in warm cli-mates, significantly earlier than others in the species. Glowing orbs of delicate sunlit purple flowers dance over symmetrical, compact mounds of fine flat foliage. ‘Fast Forward’ is more refined in shape than any other muhly. It prefers sun to partial shade and grows 24 to 30 inches tall with 4 feet in flower. It is hardy to Zones 6 to 10. www.ecgrowers.com
