Explore Spanish history, culture, education, and social justice issuesWe’ll stay in Spain’s two largest cities–Madrid and Barcelona–and also explore Segovia, Toledo, and Girona while visiting important historical and cultural sites such as the Royal Palace, the Prado, “La Rambla,” “La Sagrada Familia” and various other sites, some of which were created by the artist Gaudi.

During our trips to schools and universities, we’ll have the opportunity to meet with administrators, teachers/professors, and students as we learn about the key structures, historical and contemporary issues and innovations in Spain’s educational system. We’ll expand our understanding of the system though a comparative education and social justice lens.
