1. Cut a five foot length of C-Lon size D beading thread. String two Miyuki 8/0 Delica beads (DBL).

2. String one DBL and pass back through the first DBL added in step 1. This begins peyote stitch.

3. String one DBL, turn and pass through the slightly raised DBL added in step 2. Pull thread to secure.

4. Reinforce the first two rows by passing through all four beads once more.

5. String one DBL, turn and pass through the slightly raised DBL added in step 3.

6. String one DBL, turn and pass through the slightly raised DBL added in step 5.

7. Continue in peyote stitch until there are 51 DBL beads along the bottom edge to complete side one of the bracelet. This will make a finished bracelet approximately seven inches in length. Additional DBL beads can be added if a larger bracelet is desired, be sure to finish with an odd number of DBL beads on the longer bottom edge.

8. At the end of the last row pass down through the DBL to the left and continue through the next DBL. Exit the third DBL from the end on the bottom edge.

9. Repeat steps 1-8 to complete side two of the bracelet.

10. Working on side two only, follow the diagrammed thread path to exit the last DBL on the bottom edge.

11. Flip side two over and position it below the first so that the longer edges form the interior rows.

12. Using the thread on side one, string one Miyuki 2.2mm Spacer bead (SPR22), one Swarovski 5mm crystal bicone bead, and one SPR22.

13. Pass through the third DBL from the right on side two. Continue down and to the left, exiting the third DBL on the bottom edge.

14. Turn and pass up through the next DBL to the left. Continue up and to the left, exiting the next DBL on the interior of side two.

15. String one SPR22, one crystal bicone, and one SPR22.

16. Pass up through the corresponding DBL on side one. Continue up and to the left, exiting the next DBL on the exterior of side one. Turn and pass down through the next DBL to the left, exiting the DBL on the interior.

17. String one SPR22, one crystal bicone, and one SPR22. Repeat steps 13 and 14.

18. Continue in this way, until there are 24 sets of SPR22 beads and crystal bicones between the two sides. Exit the last DBL on the interior of side one.

19. String two DBL beads. 20. Pass down through the two DBL beads on the left edge of side two. Turn right and pass up through the next two DBL beads.

21. Pass back through the two DBL beads added in step 19. Continue through the second DBL beads from the left edge of side one.

22. Turn and pass down through the two DBL beads on the left edge.

23. Pass through the first DBL bead added in step 19.

24. String one DBL.

25. Pass down through the two DBL beads added in step 19. This will begin square stitch.

26. String one DBL.

27. Pass down through the second DBL bead added in step 19.

28. Pass up through the two DBL beads on the left then down through the two on the right.

29. Pass through the second DBL beads from the left edge of side two.

30. Turn left and pass up through the next four DBL beads on the edge of the bracelet.

31. String 27 Miyuki 11/0 seed beads. 32. Pass up through the center two DBL beads at the end of the bracelet to form a loop. Continue through all the beads in the loop to reinforce.

33. Pass up through the next two DBL beads on the left edge.

34. Weave the thread tail back through the beadwork following the diagrammed thread path until secured.

35. Repeat steps 19-30 on the right side of the bracelet.

36. String five 11/0 beads and pass through the button shank.

37. Pass down through the center two DBL beads at the end of the bracelet to form a loop.

38. Continue through all the beads in the loop to reinforce.

39. Weave the thread tail back through the beadwork following the diagrammed thread path until secured. Secure and trim any remaining threads.
