FIRATÀRREGA

FiraTàrrega is the most important performing arts fair in southern Europe. It is a great fair for the different scenic arts disciplines and covers a wide range of shows both in closed venues and in the streets. There is an extensive, plural and carefully chosen programme of productions, which places its emphasis on outdoor arts and visual forms to guarantee innovation and artistic diffusion.

The Market Development department is the agency of ICEC (Catalan Institute for the Cultural Companies) charged with fostering the development of the Catalan companies and productions and its promotion abroad. Among its tasks, the support to the international dissemination of Catalan theatre stands out as an essential policy, as the Lunch Meeting at FiraTàrrega and this booklet reflect.
