Luna Park

This play is ‘A day out at Luna Park.’ It is written by Cassidy andNatasha.

Characters:

Narrator- Karho

Rihanna- Tash

Miley Cyrus- Cass

Beyonce- Maddy H

Justin Bieber – James

ACT 1

Narrator- One day there was four kids that wanted to do

something on the weekend. (There are some props- Two chairs,

a little table, and a bowl of chips and a bowl of fruit- In the

living room chatting about where to go.)

Beyonce - Hey guys, do ya all want to go to Luna Park?

Rihanna - Yeah that sounds so wicked. Does tomorrow sound

cool?

Justin Bieber - Awesome!

Miley Cyrus - Well we have to ask the parents first, hopefully

they will say a big yes

Beyonce - How are we going to get there?

Rihanna - Well I was thinking we could get dropped off by our

parents and then they can pick us up when were ready to comehome



Miley Cyrus - What time does it start and end because I think

we should get there early so it will not be so busy

Rihanna - Well was going on Sunday and it opens at 11am so

we will get there about 10:30. Then it shuts at 6pm so I will callthem to pick us up at about 5:15. Does that sound alright?

Justin Bieber - Yeah that sounds great

Miley Cyrus - OMG I just went to ask the parents if we could go

to Luna Park and they said an enormous yes

Rihanna - Same My mum and dad said only if you are good and

don’t be naughty

Miley Cyrus - You could stay for a sleep-over as well so we can

all go together in the morning

Rihanna -OK, I am so excited for tomorrow

ACT 2

Narrator- The kids are starting to wake up and they are excited

about going to Luna Park. (Props are – 4 blankets and 4 pillows

and 1 table- Just waking up in the morning and then going to

Luna Park.)

Justin Bieber - Come on guys, wakey wakey, you know I have

been awake since 5am now it is like 8am; it is nearly time to go

to Luna Park

Beyonce - OK we are coming! We have heaps of time. You just

wake up so early

Miley Cyrus - Yeah, Justin is right we should get ready to go

soon

Rihanna - Guys I’m still half asleep I’m going to have a shower

Justin Bieber - No I was going to go in the shower first, you can

go after me, go watch some T.V while you are waiting



Rihanna - Fine I will then

Beyonce - No time for any showers now it is really time to go

now

Miley Cyrus - Yeah she is right we have to go now

Justin Bieber - Mum, it is time to go now

ACT 3

Narrator- They are so excited to be going into Luna Park soon

and they are just about 5 minutes from getting inside. (Propsare a wallet, and some food- They are about to go inside and

they are planning what ride they will go on first.)

Beyonce - Wow! Luna Park is so big, let’s go in it is opening

now

Rihanna - Hey guys, can we go on the Ghost train first because

it looks so cool

Justin Bieber - Yeah cool that is the one that I wanted to go on

as well

Miley Cyrus - Lets go the line is building up

Tash- How much does it cost to get in for the day?

Beyonce - It costs $25.75 per person so it will be $103.00 for all

of us together

Miley Cyrus - Ok let’s go

Beyonce - Can we go on the ghost train first pretty please with

a cheery on top

Justin Bieber -Yeah, ok let’s ghost out

Rihanna - Yeah very funny!

ACT 4



Narrator- The kids are all going on the ghost train and they are

so scared.

Beyonce - This ride looks really fun guys

Narrator- The kids enter the ride

Rihanna - This ride is really lame guys, this has been an

average day

Miley Cyrus - Now listen to me. When we get of the ghost train

we all have to stay together because if one of us gets lost then

it will be bad

Rihanna - Let’s get off this ride guys I don’t like it

Miley Cyrus - Yeah let’s go

ACT 5

Narrator- The kids are getting of the ghost train they have tostay together or one of them will get lost.

Rihanna -I think it is for us to go and the Roller coaster and

scream

Beyonce - Ok that sounds awesome

Miley Cyrus - Ok let’s go and line up

Rihanna –Miley and I will get front and you guys can go behindus HAHA

Justin Bieber - Oh that’s unfair can we go in the front please

Miley Cyrus - Nah we are because we are older than you

Beyonce - Whatever I don’t care

Rihanna - Let’s just go on the rollercoaster already

Miley Cyrus - It is our turn guys lets go



ACT 6

Narrator-The kids are going to go on the rollercoaster and they

are scared

Justin Bieber - This is so freaky

Everyone-

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Miley Cyrus - I feel really dizzy

Rihanna - That was the best ride I have ever been on

Beyonce - Remember what I we said before everyone stay

together when we go off

Narrator- Kids are chatting about how cool the rollercoaster was

Miley Cyrus - Where is Cooper guys where he is? Is he lost?

Rihanna - OMG where is he gone

Beyonce - He is lost

Miley Cyrus - Do you want to split up so we can find him easier?

Rihanna - Okay

Miley Cyrus - I will go look for him near the food bar

Rihanna - Ok then I will wait here then and watch out for him

Beyonce - I think I can see him

Rihanna - Where, where

Beyonce - Over there in the gift store

Miley Cyrus - Come on! Let’s go get him

Rihanna -Justin over here

Justin Bieber - Oh hey guys I was getting worried I had lost you



Rihanna - Hey do you guys want to go on the pirate ship

Miley Cyrus - Yeah totally

Justin Bieber - Lets go and line up

Beyonce - OMG this is scary

Rihanna - This is the best ride EVER

Miley Cyrus - Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh

ACT 7

Narrator- The kids are feeling dizzy getting of the pirate ship

ride and they decide to go on the mad mouse

Miley Cyrus - Let’s go on the mad mouse

Justin Bieber - Aaaaaahhhhhhh (scared)

Rihanna - This ride is so awesome

Beyonce - Help me I’m going to be sick (gagging)

Miley Cyrus - Try to hold it in because the ride is nearly over

Justin Bieber - This ride is so fast

Beyonce - I know

Miley Cyrus - I think it is time to go now it’s starting to get dark

Rihanna – I will call my mum and dad to pick us up (going out of the room to get the phone)

ACT 8

Narrator-Kids are in the car talking to each other about what

their favourite rides where (whispering)



Beyonce - My favourite ride is the roller coaster

Miley Cyrus - Yeah that was my favourite ride as well

Justin Bieber - My favourite is the mad mouse

Rihanna - Well I loved all the rides accept the ghost train. That

was lame

Miley Cyrus - Look we are nearly home

Beyonce - OMG we are nearly home that didn’t take as long as I

thought I would (excited)
