TASH update meeting
Tuesday 16 December
Bart House Collaboratory
Three core elements to resource:
• Inner ring – helping users to develop academic literacy, personal and interpersonal skills, and reflective learning strategies;
• Interactive tasks – orientation case studies; expectations & skills audits; communication & re-presentation exercises;
• Outer ring – “rapid routes” signposting users to internal or external online and face-to-face skills development resources
Three main first-time user types
• Getting started – new students possibly directed to resource as part of induction exercise;
• Quick fix – existing staff or students with a particular problem to solve;
• Long term users – students looking to engage with resource in its entirety.
