Inspired by the Beryl Institute community, Patient Experience (PX) Week provides a focused time to celebrate and honor YOU - the people who impact the lives of our patients and staff through every encounter!

From nurses and physicians, to support staff and executive professionals, we would like to recognize your COMMITMENT and invite you to participate in our week’s events brought to you by Office of Patient Experience as we celebrate you during the

2017 PCARES Patient Experience Week!

PX week Kickoff-Join us on the 3rd floor from 10am-3pm for our 4th annual PX kickoff event. Take part in our scavenger hunt for a chance to win our PX week raffle. Other prizes and giveaways available.

Massage Therapy 11:30am-1:30pm (open to family/visitors & staff, no patients). Location TBD.

Meaningful Conversations’ During Rounds, sign up for the session designed to provide skills and tools for rounding at the LPCH auditorium 11am-12pm; Massage Therapy 5pm-7pm (open to family/visitors & staff/ no patients). Location TBD.

Yoga/Breathing Technique Session 11:30-3pm at the LPCH atrium and take a moment to learn techniques to help you focus on movement and breathing (open to all). Massage Therapy 11:30am-1:30pm (open to family/visitors & staff/no patients) location TBD.

Meaningful Conversations’ During Rounds, sign up for the session designed to provide skills and tools for rounding at 4700 Bohannon Location only 2pm-3pm. Massage Therapy 5pm-7pm (open to family/visitors & staff/ no patients). Location TBD.

Events throughout the week: Monday – Friday Sprouting PCARES! Spot awards provided by Office of Patient Experience (OPE) to staff members seen demonstrating PCARES in action.

LEAF a Thank You: Write a thank you note and pin it on the artificial leaf rope displayed in your area.

Compassion Challenge: Complete the compassion challenge and email your responses for a chance to win. Multiple winners will be selected. Compassion Challenge cards can be picked up at information desk. Email entries to PCARES@stanfordchildrens.org Deadline for all entries is Monday, May 1.
