Welcome to the first issue of Love Letters: The Love More Project Magazine. We are now expanding to serve as a portal for the transmission of Divine Love in yet another medium! If you haven’t checked out our other offerings yet, please be sure to. We are currently broadcasting five, incredible, enlightening shows on The Love More Project Radio Channel on Blog Talk Radio, streaming empowering, educational video content on The Love More Project TV at YouTube, we’ve infiltrated Twitter, Facebook and the Internet with our social networking and website and now we’ve launched this beautiful magazine!

As I sat down to put the finishing touches on this issue and write this letter, I couldn’t help but reflect on how graceful and awe-inspiring a journey this has been thus far. Since I launched The Love More Project at the beginning of this year it has been nothing short of a miracle how eloquently its expansion has unfolded. I am continuously inspired with new, creative directions to take The Love More Project in and as soon as I say “yes” to one of these beautiful ideas, the right people flow in to my life who also are willing to say “yes” to my vision.

The current group of contributors to both this magazine and the radio shows are a miraculous blessing in my life. Without their collective passion, joy, support and love, none of this would be possible. I wake up each morning feeling an incredible sense of gratitude and well-being and they are a huge part of that. Thanks to their love and support, and those of you who are reading, listening to and receiving blessings from our work, the dreams I’ve held in my heart for years are now coming true!

A Journey of Self-Discovery & Peace Unfolds

This month I would like to introduce you to Saint Anthony of Padua. He is a wonderful Master to work with. He gives us the ability to speak our truths without being mean or rude, helps us feel comfortable with our life paths, and also help us find something, should it be lost. This can be a personal item or any kind of devotion, feeling, or enthusiasm. As is true with many things, it is nice to see where we came from before we focus on the here and the now, so let’s begin with a little history. Here is the life of Saint Anthony of Padua.

Saint Anthony was born Fernando Martins de Bulhões in Lisbon Portugal in the late 1100’s. He was born into a wealthy family who wanted him to have a great education. Refusing his parents direction, he entered the Augustinian Abby of St. Vincent where he studied Latin scripture and many other classic literatures. While there Anthony had a chance meeting with some friars from the Franciscan order. This group of men stem from Saint Francis, who began this group when he decided to live as a Saint would; giving up all possessions, living in poverty and fully devoting his life to God and His will. Anthony loved their lifestyle and asked for permission to leave his church to go be with them. After getting permission, he left to live with them in Italy. On a return trip to Portugal, Anthony’s ship crashed near Sicily. He made his way to Assisi and entered a monastery as a hermit due to poor heath. One day he was asked to deliver a sermon to their congregation. This was his first time ever speaking to a large group. He was directed to speak about whatever the Holy Spirit guided him to. It was said that his sermon was so pure and moving that he was commissioned to speak all throughout Italy! He became known as a great speaker and traveled to many different countries to preach. After one of his travels, he was on the way home to Padua when he

died of dropsy. He was 36. It is said that the moment he died children were found in the streets crying for the loss of this Saint and all the bells in the churches began to ring, as if rung by Angels. Anthony’s tongue is still in perfect shape. While the rest of his body has deteriorated, his tongue is still moist!

I have found Saint Anthony’s energy to be one of kindness and joy. He is warm, loving, and even a touch mischievous. When I see him, he always has a smile on his face and laughter in his eyes. I once had lost my flash drive, which I was using to store many important files. I said his prayer and let go of any worry or concern about the lost object:

A few years ago, I found myself experiencing a seemingly successful life. I had two meaningful jobs, a new house, a nice car, my daughter attended a beautiful, private school and we were actively engaged in our church. However, despite these signs of outward success, there was a strong message indicating that I had strayed too far from my authentic and unique life path. I was experiencing chronic fatigue, digestive problems, sinus and ear infections and flu symptoms. I was diagnosed with anxiety disorder and even had a biopsy done after a mass was found in my breast. To make matters worse, my illness was also affecting my daughter’s health.

In the midst of these circumstances, I experienced an awakening which served as a turning point for my life, one that allowed me to find my own Path. Standing at the check out counter of a physician's office one day, I suddenly realized that I was visiting medical doctors more often than my closest friends. With all my family living overseas, my friends were my only support and under the current circumstances I was deprived of enjoying their company. That day, I made a conscious decision to find out what was triggering and upsetting the delicate balance of my life and manifesting as illness and weakness in my physical body. I knew that with all the treatments suggested by my physicians we were merely managing the symptoms and I wanted to find the cause to stop, once and for all, the suffering my daughter and I were going through. I was convinced that my health was simply serving as a gauge, showcasing the

physical consequences of my mental, emotional, and spiritual health and well-being.

During this time, I did not see myself as a victim, but rather a person who needed to take charge of her life.

Taking charge of my life required me to shift my focus from looking for solutions in an external agent, to having an honest conversation with myself.

As a result of that introspection, it was clear that I was brought into this situation, not because of the surrounding circumstances, but as a result of trusting that the source of health was outside of myself. So, I began my healing journey. Since I was living in a rural area, my journey was an intuitive one, relying on my own guidance to find the resources and tools to heal myself and my life.

My first step was trying to understand my body and its reactions, what was affecting it and how I could modify certain habits in order to bring not only relief of my symptoms, but the deeper healing I so desperately was seeking. I began to rebuild my relationship with my body and my life. By beginning to understand my body’s needs and messages, I was able to actively participate in the decision making process that would lead to my sustainable well-being.

It sounds simple, and it is. However, due to a variety of factors we often live our life in “cruise control,” we live to meet other people's expectations, we respond to the demands imposed by society, and (Continued on Page 10)

I seem to like guys that are shall we say… unattainable. Be open to giving and receiving love.” With this message I believe it’s safe to say that it’s time to prepare yourself to experience a satisfying relationship with someone you will desire. As far as these unattainables… the angels gave me the nudge to ask you if you have leveled with any of them. The first step in any romantic relationship or commitment is to let the other person in on the little secret that you have feelings for them, so have you? Ask the romance angels and the angels of your future partner, whoever he is, to work with you both and plan the perfect

opportunity to start your life together. As I tuned in to your angels, they were repeating the word “marriage” over and over, so if this is what you want, let your beautiful husband be sent to you. The casual relationship you may be willing to settle for right now will just prolong the amount of time until you find the e n c h a n t e d , c o m m i t t e d relationship you’ve always dreamed of. I recently read Truth, Triumph and Transformation by Sandra Ann Taylor (Hay House, 2010) which inspired me to reassess my beliefs regarding the Law of Attraction (LOA). For those of you who are not familiar with this popular concept, the Law of Attraction states that “like attracts like,” which means that what I experience in my life is the same energy that I am putting out to the Universe in terms of my thoughts and feelings. However, while I personally believe in the Law, I also feel that there are a lot of misconceptions floating around about how the LOA works in our lives. Fortunately in this book, Ms. Taylor addresses these misconceptions and provides not only clarification, but a deeper understanding of the Law itself.

One such clarification was that we are not to "blame" for every crisis that happens in our lives. She acknowledges that there are many believers in the LOA that are frustrated with their exper iences and chast ise themselves for not effectively creating their desires. Taylor also explains that while we do create our reality using this powerful Law, there are a lot of factors that go into the mix, such as the cycles of life and Karma. She also presents the reader with helpful and practical suggestions for working with the Law of Attraction to assist you in navigat ing through more challenging life experiences that have manifested. One quote in particular struck me as being especially helpful in this regard: "There's an old adage that says; "When the seas are stormy, the fisherman stays home and repairs the nets." When your seas are stormy, there may be something you need to repair. Go within; investigate what's truly going on. Take time to regroup and reflect.” This quote served as an important reminder for me, encouraging reflection during times of change as well as utilizing these times to prepare for the next phase rather than continuing to struggle and “battle the stormy seas.”

Another point Taylor eloquently addresses in the book is that everything must change, we are never stuck in one phase forever, and this includes the times of grace as well as the times of challenge. Everything cycles, just like the seasons. It is important to find your inner balance and strength so when the cycles occur and your life circumstances shift, you are always centered in yourself. She reminds us that while our life will cycle through phases, one thing does remain constant: the Law of Attraction and the fact that not only did you co-create the situation you find yourself in, but you also have the power to create a new situation by simply changing your thoughts. This means that even though everything must change, we have the power to shape what it will change into by focusing our thoughts on our dreams and desires.

As I stated earlier, this book provided me with an opportunity to reflect on my beliefs regarding the Law of Attraction. By drawing my attention back to this powerful philosophy, I was encouraged to become even more aware of my present moment and what I am thinking and feeling,

many times even unintentionally, we allow others to dictate the course our lives. This can often lead us to become disconnected from our authentic and unique life path, which over time can negatively affect our health and well-being. A few weeks later, it showed up in my car! I had thought I dropped it outside somewhere! Should you ever loose something, simply repeat the prayer for Saint Anthony tell him what is lost and ask for help finding it. Let go of any thoughts about the item and it will seem to appear out of nowhere!

I also find it useful to call upon St. Anthony when I need communication assistance. This can be before I speak in a public setting or in a one-on-one conversation. He can help you find the best words to convey what you wish to say, without hurting anyone.

In addition to finding the best way to explain something that may seem difficult to understand, Saint Anthony followed his true path. He spoke to a large group of people without planning or practice. He had the willingness to listen to Divine guidance and trust that he was where he needed to be at that time. For this action and a few others, I also find him to be a great Master to work with in regards to confidently walking our own Divine path. I would encourage you to take some time to sit quietly in meditation with Saint Anthony, allow him to come to you and ask him for any guidance or help following your own path. knowing that through these powerful tools I am creating not only my tomorrow but the days, months and years ahead. Reflecting in this way also empowered me by reminding me that I have the opportunity to change the aspects of my life that are less satisfying at any time I so desire.

I was grateful for Taylor’s clarification regarding the misconceptions of the LOA, because I too have seen many people “beat” themselves up over not seeing what they wanted in front of them and I appreciated her explanation of the other factors involved in the co-creation of our lives.

The big take away I had from this book was that we need to remember, and know, that the Universe is perfect, it knows what we need, not just what we want. If we disregard this principle we are operating at a lower level of consciousness, limiting our ability to effectively co-create our life experiences. The keys are to Trust in the benevolence of the Universe and its ability to provide our needs, to not allow ourselves to sink into emotions or thought patterns of blame, guilt or shame about our past or current manifestations and to instead focus our co-creative thoughts and emotions on the dreams and desires in our Hearts.

We are all re-learning and re-mastering our natural abilities of manifestation here in the Earth School, so don’t beat yourself up if you aren’t a pro yet! We are all learning every day. Love the adventure and the experience, and trust that your higher-self is helping you become the amazing co-creator that you are, all in Divine timing.
