HOLIDAYS ASSIGNMENT – NURSERY (2017-18)

Summer vacations are here and its time to relax at home from the heat. Being at

home for 24 hours, your child needs to follow some routine. Please spend some

quality time with your child. Here is something very interesting for your child to

stay happy and occupied.

YOUNG CHILDREN AND PICTURE BOOKS

Ideally, children learn to love literature through joyful encounters with picture

books shared with them by enthusiastic adults. Therefore, in order to cultivate

imagination and introduce concepts as well as reading habits at an early age,

spend some quality time .

IMPORTANT

Let’s converse in small English sentences like:

How are you? I am good, Thank you.

I am thirsty. Please give me water.

Please open/close my tiffin/bag.

I am hungry. Pleases give me food.

I have finished my work/food.

Please switch off the light/fan.

Learn to open/close your tiffin/bag (without help).

Learn to fold your napkin/handkerchief.

Let’s practice colouring.

Let’s converse in English with Mummy & Papa.
