    for vacations and swimming. There are so many outdoor activities and

    events that families can spend time together enjoying themselves. Fishing,

    Neighborhood News!

    Neighborhood Safety Tips Stay alert. Lock your vehicles! Do not leave valuables in your vehicles, especially visible. Do not leave your wheel locks in your vehicles or gloveboxes. Brighten your surroundings, turn on lights outside. If possible,

    get motion sensor lights installed. Close your garage doors if you aren’t out front. Get to know your neighbors, watch out for each others’ hous-

    es. Be vigilant. If you see your neighbors garage door open, shoot

    them a text if you have their number.

    We would like to make plans for Adult Activities.

    If you have any ideas, please contact a board

    member! We want to have events for every age

    group in our neighborhood.

    If you want to plan an activity for the adults in

    our community, please let us know and we can

    reserve the clubhouse.

    Electronic Key Access Cards

    Complete the Key Card access form (attached &

    on website) and place it in the mailbox at the

    clubhouse (located at the curb).

    The forms will be collected and a board member

    will contact you to pick up your card.

    You WILL need the key card in order to enter

    the pool area during operating hours.

    The website has the pool hours updated for the

    2019 pool season.

    The Pool Access form is located on our website

    for you to complete before coming up to the

    clubhouse.

    It is NOT too late to get your flag for the next flag

    holiday.

    Join the Klein Oak HS Choir with their Flags With

    Pride program. This is a fundraiser that helps the

    students with scholarships and competitions.

    It is a SUPER easy fundraiser. You get a US flag

    placed at the curb of your house for 7 (seven)

    different holidays for $40. First flag is Memorial

    Day, but it isn't too late. The form is attached in

    the newsletter.

    val event to include a 1k / 5k fun run in October.

    Welcome to the LHOA Swimming Pool

    • A Pool Access Card will be required to enter the pool area and may be obtained by calling any LHOA board member—numbers on website.

    • NO pets, bicycles or wheeled toys are allowed in the pool area or blocking the gate.

    • Children under the age of 13 MUST be accompa-nied by parent/guardian age 18 years or older.

    • The pool area is available ONLY to Londonderry members in good standing,

    Proceedings

    • Board Meeting called to order 7:30pm

    • May & June meeting minutes read and approved with date changes due to convenience.

    Treasurer’s Report

    • Treasurer’s report – reviewed, motion & approved. HOA dues are just below 10% past due

    Committee Reports

    • ACC Committee

    One new decking issue & working with HO on new design.

    One new concrete request

    • Deeds Restrictions Committee

    Letters going out to HO’s.

    • Clubhouse

    No updates

    • Welcome Committee (Maria)

    First batch of new homeowners to receive new plants within the next 2 weeks.

    Old Business

    • Subdivision Security & Cameras – Matt reported that he is still trying to get another face to face meeting. Still in process of getting more

    specifics. 4 security cameras to be donated by HO to have on the clubhouse.

    • Large “pool rules” sign was purchased and being printed. New designs needed for 2 additional signs. Cheryl to get more deta ils on

    different designs.

    • Clubhouse & keycards have been given to 140 residents. Two additional pool card requests are being processed.

    • Board decided against any interest in HCMUD #1 property on Aughton Court.

    • Wrought iron pieces from MUD #1 lot to be picked up at a later date.

    • Fall Festival task lists have been created and will be emailed out from Dave Rush.

    • Accounting database, Maria brought up new upgrade product from QuickBooks. Maria to get more detailed information to be discussed

    at the next meeting. Curt wanted more information about what kind of new fields we needed for the database.

    • TC called SW Pools to get a new shepherd’s hook for the pool and lifeguards.

    New Business

    • Tennis court wind shields need to be fixed. Dave requested approval for $100 to buy wired rope to reattach to fence. Motioned and

    approved.

    • Secretary position has been vacated; search for new board member is in the works.

    • HOA meeting dates – Matt discussed changed dates will not hold an absence against any board member who couldn’t make the new

    date. Curt cautions the board to not change dates in the future.

    • Discussion about possible addition of ceiling fans inside the clubhouse and can lights in the kitchen. Getting additional quotes on possi-

    ble project.

    • Discussion about replacing and adding wood picket fence around both A/C units and garbage can area. Tabled until next meeting to

    have a budget discussion.

    • Discussion regarding clubhouse repairs, including fixing cracks in walls/ceilings, new paint. Need additional bids.

    General Discussion & Additional Business

    • Dave requested $50 for an emergency expenditure for plumbing.

    • Front door was cracked, needed replacement. Motion to fix front door, approved.

    June Minutes continued…

    Old Business

    • Subdivision Security & Cameras – Matt reported that security camera acquisition, installation and operation research is ongoing.

    • Matt & Dave will work on the Londonderry entry sign on June 23rd in the afternoon.

    • 2 sign purchases were approved – a pool rule sign 8’ x 4’ from Kwik Kopy and a pool gate sign 18” x 24” aluminum sign – “Welcome

    to the Pool” from Sign Central. Total cost for the 2 signs not to exceed $850.00.

    • TC created a pool committee.

    • Board member responsibilities and board member positions were discussed with further review to continue at the next meeting.

    • Pool Canopy – tabled until the November HOA board meeting. To ensure work can be completed before pool season.

    New Business

    • Discussion on recent rescheduled meetings and all members present agreed to redouble efforts to make schedules work with regularly

    scheduled meeting dates.

    • Pool redecking – tabled until November HOA board meeting, to ensure work can be completed before pool season.

    • April’s meeting minutes reviewed, read and APPROVED.

    • Treasurer’s report – reviewed & approved. Maria said 66% of budget has been spent.

    No new ACC requests have been received.

    • Deeds Restrictions Committee

    Letters to houses with trailers & boats were sent out.

    May Minutes continued...

    • Clubhouse

    Rented full on weekends through June.

    Received 2 different bids to fix conference room ceiling. Discussed the different bids. Voted and approved bid from Cesar

    Arizpe Remodeling for $4,690.00.

    Cheryl will contact contractor and schedule the work to be started and completed between rentals & swim meets.

    Old Business

    • Acquire LHOA equipment (laptop, external drive, printer, etc) – TC has equipment in storage.

    • Clubhouse access cards – Dave & Amy Rush came up with a process to distribute cards.

    Several board members will finish programming cards after flag raising ceremony.

    Dave made form to be completed by HOs to complete to receive their access cards.

    1st date of distribution is set for Sunday, June 2nd. 2pm – 6pm.

    • Discussed and went over pool rules and policies to get wording correct to get signs ordered.

    • Subdivision Security & Cameras – Matt is waiting on a formal bid from the camera company. Someone will have to call Centerpoint to

    have them come out to the corners where we need electrical power run to operate the cameras. May have to get a security company to

    supervise cameras and installations.

    Cameras will record 24 hours/7 days a week. Footage could be downloaded, if needed. Recordings will hold up to 1,000 hours

    then delete & record over.

    Bovington exit – may have a possibility to have joint coverage and access with Augusta Pines (who already have a camera at this

    location)

    Possibly $25,000 for entry security cameras

    Matt to contact Max to walk the entrances to mark where cameras will be located.

    Matt is in contact with the HC Constables office to have an officer come to a board meeting about more patrols of the neighbor-

    hood.

    • Private Event Sign / No Public Restrooms – Cheryl is getting ordered and proofs for approval.

    • Pool Canopy – HOA board to look for more alternatives for shade coverage on pool deck. Dave brought printouts of a different type

    of canopy cover, but board is still exploring options.

    • Flag poles – Installed and completed.

    Electrical bids received and discussed. Voted and approved Myron Electrical bid for flagpole lights.

    • Dave obtain some wrought iron fence panels to possibly use around tennis court entrance.

    New Business

    • Dave reached out to MUD #1 and they will put the lot on Aughton Court on their next months agenda.

    • Fall Festival will not be a charity event, will host a 1k/5k Run in the morning and band in the evening with food.

    • Software – looking to add additional data fields in Quickbooks, to use that as a combined database for all HOA information.

    • Lifeguards asked about getting new hooks on the fence or buildings for a Shepherd’s Hook. TC to call SW to see where the best loca-

    tion is for these new hooks.

    • Status of vacated director position. Discussion about who to get to fill this open position.

    General Discussion & Additional Business

    • Tabling any new remodeling for outside pool bathrooms.
