COMPANY PROFILE "Lola Livnica - Pom" is a leading Serbian company in the field of metallurgy and heavy duty engineering.

Reliability, quality, professionalism and constant implementation of the latest technologies, are the

basic principles of work in our company.

Lola Livnica Pom is organized in its two main business units:

Lola Livnica (Lola Foundry) and

Lola Pom (Lola process equipment and machinery).

The company was founded in 1948. as a part of the Ivo Lola Ribar corporation. Since 2007, after the

change in ownership structure, Lola Livnica Pom became a part of Dam-Mont doo group. Thanks to the

radical changes in management, organization structure, quality management and introduction of the

latest production technologies, a profitable and modern business was created. Today Lola has 300

employees and 60.000 m² of workshop floor.

Lola Livnica-Pom is equipped with a large machine park, which enables a wide range of highly

sophisticated production programs, consisting of processes such as casting, welding, high precision

machining, assembly and installation.

1. LOLA FOUNDRY

Lola Foundry has the following production program: carbon steel casting, high-alloyed steel casting, low-

alloyed steel casting. The main product range consists of steel castings between 10 and 50.000 kg a

piece. Currently, the capacity of our foundry is 1000 t per month.

Castings are cast in the following qualities:

steel casting for general purpose,

steel casting

wear-resistant steel casting,

stainless and chemically resistant

steel casting.

Casting process

The foundry program includes production of steel and nodular castings, for individual and mass

production. Many years of experience, modern units for production of liquid metal, computerized heat

treatment process and well-organized control in every phase of production, is a guarantee of high

quality castings.

Lola Foundry is capable of performing the entire technological process from making patterns to the

machining of the cast. Foundry consists of the following production units:

Pattern production, which has experienced staff and modern machines for making high quality

patterns of various sizes and degrees of complexity.

Mold and core production, which is done

manually and mechanically.

Cast steel melting has three electric arc furnaces

to produce liquid metal in variety of qualities.

Department of finishing is equipped with tools

and devices for:

cleaning and sanding of castings

heat treatment

Protection against corrosion.

Lola Foundry is designed to produce 10.000 tons of castings annually. It has its own two laboratories for

chemical and mechanical tests. Currently, foundry has 80 employees.

Within the foundry are located two laboratories for chemical and mechanical testing.

2 facilities for pellet cleaning of the castings;

2. LOLA PROCESS EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY

The main production program of Lola Pom includes design and construction of factories, production

lines, plants and machinery for mining, energetic, metallurgy, environment and other industries. Lola

Pom is capable of caring out a complete production process from design to commissioning.

Lola process equipment and machinery operates since 1948. Year. Lola Pom designed and implemented

its projects in many countries around the world: Russia, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Algeria, Cuba, Sudan,

Myanmar, France, Romania and the republics of the former Yugoslavia.

Production program of Lola Pom includes:

equipment for mining: mining conveyors, mills, excavators;

equipment for hydro and thermal power plants: shafts, turbines;

metallurgical equipment: steel mills, rolling sheets;

gearboxes and gears;

transport equipment: industrial cranes, conveyors;

equipment for the environment: waste sorting, recycling, processing, composting;

development of individual machines and components according to customer specification.

2.1. MINING

The mining program includes equipment for surface and underground mining – spreaders with tripper

cars, excavators, mobile and semi mobile crushers, self-propelled transporters, as well as complete

transport systems.

Plants and equipment for the flotation and concentrate production of:

zinc, lead, gold, copper.

Plants are designed from the following machines and equipment:

shredders for primary and secondary shredding,

ball mills,

bar mills,

one – and two – spinal screeners,

conditioning machines,

flotation machines,

condensators,

machines and plants for concentrate filtering (desk vacuum filters, drum filters, etc.),

systems for handling and transport.

2.4. GEARBOXES

The gearbox product range includes 16

product families of gear and worm

gearboxes. Each family is designed and

manufactured in wide range of gear

ratios axial distances and the installed

power. In this way, a wide range of

gearboxes in various industrial facilities is

enabled. Families of standard gearboxes

were designed on the Baukasten system

principle, which allows installation of

standardized elements in several types

and sizes of gearboxes.

Our standard reducers are widely used in

various industries, especially in steel mills,

rolling mills, cement factories, power plants, mines, transportation systems, industrial equipment etc.

Lola produced more than 10.000 gearboxes of various types and sizes.

Gearbox calculation is carried out according to DIN standards. Process of gearbox design and

documentation drafting is done using the latest software packages. In this area, our machinery park has

remarkable technological capabilities. We produce gears of diameter max 8000 mm, module 50mm, and

perform gear grinding up to 3500 mm diameter.

Within the company, there is a department for quality, led by the quality manager. For many years,
