MIKE POWLEY MEMORIAL COLLECTIBLE NIGHT
Tuesday, March 10
The Collectibles Night was reintroduced last year and attracted six enthusiastic members who provided us with a fun evening and a display of very interesting collections. A thanks goes to Peter Tilbury for a well-organized show. This is a great opportunity to display and share your hobby, treasures and collections with the club members. Your contribution towards an engag-ing fun evening is not required to be car related and can vary from rare to valuable to tongue in cheek. Show us what else you collect (other than old English cars)!
To reserve a display space at the meeting: call or text Ken Magnus (250) 240-0185 or email at [email protected].

Have You Ever Raced an MG or Jaguar?
This year the Club's Executive has estab-lished a CXKJR/CCMGC Theme for 2020 - " A History of Innovation, Invention & Com-petition". Following this theme, Classical Gas will have a series of articles on MG and Jaguar racing, which will refer to club members who have raced either marque. It can be any kind of racing - for example: hill climbs, wheel to wheel racing on a track, road racing, slalom/autocross. If you have raced an MG and/or a Jaguar anytime in the past or are doing so currently, please email me at [email protected] . If you have photos, please don't send them with your initial email - I will arrange for you to send them at a later date.
Thank you,
Jennifer Orum

SPRING RUN AND LUNCH
SATURDAY MARCH 14, 2020
This is the first drive of the spring, so plan to get those MGs and Jaguars out of the garage and on the road! The event will in-volve a drive in the Fraser Valley that ends up at Dickens Tea Room & British Museum in Chilliwack for lunch.
A bonus! Mike McChesney has invited members to drop by his mountainside home after lunch – 15 minutes from Dickens – to see his 1967 Vanden Plas Princess 4 Litre R “Stone Princess” Project. His wife Karlie’s quilt artistry will also be on display, with around 30 quilts in the house and attached studio.
If you are planning to stop for lunch at Dick-ens Sweets please check their menu on their web-site and call them to place your food order. They are set up to receive or-ders from the Jaguar / MG Club. They would like to have advance notice of the orders and number of people attending so that they can be better prepared to serve us.
