Sun City Naz News
Alabaster…This month, donations are being
made for this annual cause. All monies go to build
hospitals, churches, clinics, and pastor’s homes
overseas. Today is “Alabaster Sunday.”
Living Witness Workshop...has been upgraded to
a 3-session workshop for 3 Saturdays @ 10 AM on
Oct. 26, Nov. 2 & 9. Participants will receive their
own notebook with materials. An opportunity to
document your faith witness for family and
friends. Anyone who didn’t complete the spring
workshop is welcome to add your name to sign-
up sheet in lobby. Facilitator: George Smith.
Women’s Luncheon...Fri., Oct. 11 at 11:30. Theme
is “Elegant Fall” with guest speaker, Kathy Slamp.
Kathy is a featured speaker for retreats,
workshops, and seminars as well as
cruises. Invite a friend! These popular
luncheons are always fun and
meaningful along with a delicious
meal. Tickets/$10 & available in lobby.
Church Membership Class...Sat., Oct. 5 from 9 AM
to noon; led by Dr. Estep. Learn about how
Nazarene churches began, what Nazarenes
believe about salvation, holy lifestyle, social issues,
etc. Then, decide if you want to become a
member.
From the Stewards’ Committee...We’re pleased to
announce that, beginning Oct. 6, we’ll have a
basket in the foyer for you to place cards for our
pastoral & support staff for Pastor Appreciation
Month. We are so blessed to have the leaders
God has provided for us. We’ll be recognizing &
thanking them during the Oct. 20 AM services.
Singles’ Get-Together at Sun City Naz…
Fri., Oct. 4 at 4 PM. We’ll provide the hot
dogs and baked beans! Sign up in
lobby.
Sun City Naz’s Library...will re-open soon, new &
improved! See Flo Knight for info.
Sun City Naz Online Directory Photos...will be
taken by Pastor Dirk this morning in the lobby.
There’s no charge and nothing for sale. If you
