YOU DID IT! YOU’RE HERE! So, first things first, we would like

to congratulate each one of you for getting here. You’ve

earned it.

We are your Pharmacy Society: your representatives here at

UoN, a gold star society run by students for students and we

are more than excited to meet you! We want to help make

your transition into university life as smooth as possible.

Our objectives for the 18/19 academic year are:

1) To provide you with plenty of inclusive social & sporting

events. We want Nottingham to feel like your second

home as soon as possible!

2) To support your professional & academic growth.

3) To raise the profile of our society in the local community

through charitable events.

We have a lot planned for the coming year. Grab a cup of tea,

coffee or whatever beverage that takes your fancy. Sit back,

maybe put on your favourite music and flick through the next

Throughout the year we arrange a wide

variety of events to cater for all our

students’ needs. From nights out to

cultural events, river cruises to cinema

screenings and intermural sports you are

sure to enjoy many of our events

throughout your first year here at UoN!

Welcome Week

Throughout your first week

we will have an orientation

event to get everyone settled

and a small social to give you

all a chance to meet the rest

of the school.

SPICE

Our annual multicultural performance

event, showcasing the non-

pharmaceutical talents we have to

offer. With food, refreshments and

entertainment provided it is a

celebration of the amazing diversity

we have in our school. Be sure to

look out for more information in the

early weeks of your first semester!

Christmas River Cruise

We’re all going to hop onto our

famous Nottingham River Cruise

for Xmas! With drinks, food and

refreshments provided, the trip up

and down the River Trent is good

fun and another great chance to

get to know people from all years.

PharmSoc End of Year Ball

Our final event of the year. This is where

we get to end the year in style. Black tie

attire, live music and a beautiful venue

make this one of the best nights of your

life!

Throughout the rest of the year there will

be a whole host of events including free

pizza night, ice skating, bowling, laser quest

and much more. Your membership will gain

you discounted entry to most of these

events and access to other events during

the year!
