Historical Overview
Lithuanian Academy of Physical Education (LAPE) grew out of Higher Courses in Physical EducationHigher Courses in Physical Education (HCPE)(HCPE) set up in Kaunas in 19341934
In 1938 HCPE were closed and its educational role was taken by Lithuanian National Institute of Lithuanian National Institute of Physical EducationPhysical Education established in 19451945
In 19991999 the Institute was renamed into Lithuanian Lithuanian Academy of Physical EducationAcademy of Physical Education
Since its foundation over 1133000000 studentsstudents have graduated from LAPE
