Welcome

1

Welcome to this month’s first

newsletter! News Letters will be

updated monthly full of brand new

columns and news. First of all I would

like to thank you all for taking such

interest in my writing. With numerous

amounts of stories and poems, it is hard

work getting to where I stand today.

But where do I stand today? As an

online writer, I have the ability of

keeping young adults entertained at all

times. With different stories out every

month, being bored will become a rare

thing. Of course not everyone will have

2

taste in my writing. But for those of

you who do, it has been a pleasure

writing for you all. As a young adult

myself, life can be quite demeaning and

downgrading sometimes. Which is why

I chose to become a writer. It is my job

to kick different mental illnesses in the

face and help each and every one of you

safe and happy.

My stories usually focus around new

skills and morals that help teenagers

and young adults get through the

difficult times that they may

experience. Life is a strange thing.

People fight constantly for their own

freedom. They fight for love and they

fight for their rights. But what is it that

keeps us all going? What is it that

makes us stand where we are today?

Perhaps it is love or freedom. But for

me, it is hope. And hope is what I plan

to send out to all those who are in

need. No one is perfect, no one ever

will be. But in time we will learn what

it means to be normal, we will learn

what it means to be who we are. But

we cannot do it alone. Which is why

my job is to give you all hope.

INSIDE THIS ISSUE 1. What does it mean to be normal? 2. What is new in the book world

WHAT DOES NORMAL MEAN?

As young adults, we all question ourselves whether or not we are normal and fit in. But what does normal mean? Is there such thing? Or do we put our own point of views on the term.

Normal to me doesn’t mean anything. It is a word people use to describe similarity. But isn’t it boring if people are all the same? Would the world even rotate?

The word ‘normal’ is an overrated term. A word people use out of context. To be normal, we must be the same. But no one is the same. If you were to clone a sheep, put two carrots down on the floor, I guarantee both sheep will do different things despite being clones. Yet they are both the same sheep. So why would we judge and call one normal and the other not?

So ask yourself, is normal a term of truth? Is it really a word? Or do we simply just forget who we are sometimes?

1

Every person on the planet has a

different take on what normal really

is. Some people may describe listening

to heavy metal music as being normal.

Yet others may say it isn’t.

So if groups of people have different

beliefs on what normal really is, then

is it truly a thing?

It is my understanding that no one will

ever be the exact same. We all have

different characteristics and we all rely

on different things. Some may have

brown hair, others may have blue

eyes. Yet if we were to walk around

the street in a bright pink facemask,

would we still be classified as a normal

being? Or would we be alienated and

judged?

So why not call those who have blue eyes abnormal? According to the

2

Dictionary, the tern ‘normal’ is as follows: adjective conforming to the standard or the

common type; usual; not abnormal;

regular; natural.

But what makes people abnormal? If

normal is a true word, then what

describes abnormal?

Nothing. The answer to what normal

really means is nothing. It means those

who are insecure or afraid of others

can finally give them a classification. It

means all those who give us this

descriptive word, are not true

hearted. Because if normal is a

classification you give people, then

maybe you don’t really know who you

are. Perhaps you are the ‘abnormal’

one.

Normal is nothing but fake.

Fake as cake

“Woah slow down, Dean you alright? What is wrong?” she asked. “The bomb. He killed four people and then himself, but the bomb is still live. Jas the bomb is...” The call cut out and a loud explosion went off throwing Dean to the floor, hitting his head on the way down. The plane’ s left wing was blown off and tumbled out of the sky. Fire and flames stretched throughout the cabin, burning passengers and tearing down parts of the plane. It took a total of one second for the whole plane to snap in half and tumble down in flames. Passengers were thrown out from either end of the body and the cockpit was swallowed in fire.
