CHRIS HEDGES “THE DEATH OF THE LIBERAL CLASS”
An award winning journalist, Chris Hedges was a New York Times Foreign correspondent for 20 years. He is a graduate of Colgate University and Harvard Divinity School and is now a senior fellow at the Nation Institute in New York City. He is the author of numerous books on contemporary social/political issues and writes a weekly column for Truthdig. Hedges has been an outspoken supporter of the Occupy Wall St. movement from its very beginning.
After the morning service Mr. Hedges will remain for an informal Q&A/chat
with congregants in the Assembly Hall from 1 – 2 pm.
