1. Leading question.

b. Main Activities

1. Teacher explain material to the students.

2. Divide the class into five groups.

3. Each group choose a clue on the box .

4. Ask the students to open the clue, make a short conversation include asking

and giving opinion based the clue.

5. Give the students 10 minutes to make a short conversation include asking

and giving opinion based on the clue.

6. Ask the students to express their own asking and giving opinion in front of

the class.

c. Post Activity

1. Conclude the result of asking for and giving opinion the students.

Example :

Tony : It’s nice to get out of Jakarta for a while, isn’t it?

Dita : Yes, it is. Jakarta is so busy and it’s the most polluted city in Indonesia. It’s

good for us to have fresh air outside Jakarta.

Tony : What do you think about going to Ancol beach?

Dita : I think Ancol beach is terrible. It’s noisy in the weekend because a lot of

people go there.

Tony : er……. And you know that the beach is full of rubbish. People and

industries nearby get rid of waste to the sea.

Dita : Yeah….. I know about that. I read an article in a newspaper telling that

because of the pollution the color of the sea water has changes to brown and

sometimes grey.

Rio : how about going to puncak? I think that is much fresher than that in

Jakarta. We can go for a tea walk. Its scenery is marvelous as well.

Dita : It sounds nice…. Let’s go there.
