For Forest and Land Fire Prevention INTEGRATED PATROL Ministry of Environtment and Forestry Republic of Indonesia To synergize all related stakeholder to conduct prevention patrol at site level. As implementation of President Directives in 201 on “Preparedness and 6 early detection”. To increase the awareness of local people through prevention patrol activities. To increase the coordination among government, private sectors and local community. To increase participation of local community during the prevention patrol. To do early forest and land fire suppression Purpose And Objectives The Team of integrated prevention patrol may consists of Manggala Agni, Forest Ranger/Special Task Force Forest Ranger/ Investigators/related agencies in the area, Army, Police, local government, community leaders and Fire Care Community. Activities

Coordinating with local village officials

Strengthening networking at site level

Increase the synergy among Ministry of environment and Forestry, Army, Police, local government, Fire Care Community and related parties to the land and forest fire control.

Early detection of potential problems related to the forest and land fire occurrences then it could be resolved immediately.

Identification of root problem which causing of forest and land fire in each province

Sociological approach on forest and land fire prevention

Building good communication among government, local government and local people as well as building awareness of local people

Lesson Learnt

Reporting through instant messenger (whatsapp application)

Reporting through available reporting form as formal report, and the reports are submitted hierarchically to the Minister of Environment and Forestry. The report is submitted twice a day (morning and evening) to covey updated information.
