YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP LUNCHEONYOUTH SCHOLARSHIP LUNCHEON
Seacoast National Bank employees enjoyed lunch at Carrabba’s on November 16 to support LEADERship Martin County Alumni Foundation for Youth Scholarship Fund. Alumni friends, family and businesses joined together to raise funds for the annual $8,000 scholarship awarded each year to a youth graduate of the Martin Youth LEADERship Program. ……………………………….more pictures on page 2

LEADERship (class 22), Carla looks forward to
becoming involved with all Alumni to support youth
activities, the scholarship program and networking
events. Congratuations to both of our new directors.
Rene Iosco (class 21) began her career in Martin County after graduating from the University of Miami School of Law in 2007. Rene has been an attorney at McCarthy, Summers, Bobko, Wood, Norman, Bass & Melby for 5 years and practices in the areas of civil and real estate
litigation and real estate transactions. Rene is a member of the Martin County Bar Association and the Young Professionals of Martin County. She is very excited to be appointed to the LEADERship Alumni Board of Directors and is looking forward to doing great things with the Board.

Jeff Bowers Jeff Bowers is the owner and President of Masterpiece Builders and is a State Certi-fied General Contractor. His company, located in downtown Stuart at 408 Colorado
Avenue, is a local leader in the Design/Build of custom homes, major renovations
and light commercial projects. Under his direction, the company has spent many
years building an accomplished resume’ of completed projects. Some of the more
visible projects include the renovation of Woodmen Hall, the Flagler Recreation
Center, the Lyric Theatre and the Stuart Feed Store – all in downtown Stuart! There
are many, many homes and commercial spaces around the local area that Jeff has
built or remodeled.
Jeff is a product of our school system as a graduate of Martin County High, IRCC and
earned a B.S. in Business Administration from UCF. He is a graduate of LEADERship
Martin County (class 8) and served as Alumni President 2002-2003. He is a Past
President of the Treasure Coast Builders Association (TCBA) and is currently serving
as the PAC Chairman. He has served on the boards of The Martin County Historical Society, Keep Martin
Beautiful and the Palm City Chamber of Commerce. He has enjoyed volunteering at St. Joseph Catholic
School, served on the School Advisory Board and served as the boys basketball coach for 10 seasons. He
has also coached at the YMCA, Martin County Little League, Palm City and Jensen Beach Pop Warner
football. He is married to Lisa and they have 3 great children – Amanda (22), JB (20) and Stephen (15).
They are very happy and proud to call Stuart their home!

Speak Up for the St. Lucie Speak Up for the St. Lucie -- Leadership groups came together to
“Speak Up for the St. Lucie” to be a voice to save the river. Community groups are posting these pictures on FACEBOOK & elsewhere to bring State and National awareness and keep the pressure
on key decision makers to fix the pollution in our river. Take a photo and join our campaign.

Michael Dadko, CFP®
(class 12) was installed as the new Chairman of the Stuart/Martin County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2012-2013. He accepted the gavel from the outgoing Chairman, Tom Vokoun (class 7) at the Chamber’s Annual Gala on October 13
at Mariner Sands Country Club. Michael and his wife, Diane Dadko, CFP® (class 18) run Sailfish Wealth Management Group at UBS Financial Services, Inc. Two alumni installed as new board members were Janice Norman (class 14) and Linda Weiksnar (class 17). Other alumni serving are John O’Brien, Pete Lashenka, Ryan Strom, Lynn Barletta, Robin Hicks-Connors, Elliot Paul, Shaun Plymale, Kevin Powers and Stacy Ranieri.
2020thth Anniversary ReunionAnniversary Reunion
The Education Foundation of Martin County had their 20th Anni-versary reunion on November 13 at the Martin County High School Tiger’s Den. It was a room full of leaders who played a
role in making the foundation so successful during the past twenty years. Four people who helped get it started are Frank Brogan, who was Superintendent in 1992, Dr. Sara Wilcox, a member of the class 2 task force that initiated the foundation, Joe Catrambone, LEADERship Program Found-er and Nancy “Mom” Sailer, LEADERship Program Director. Some of the Inaugural board members present were Dr. David Anderson, Frank Brogan, Joe Catrambone and Kathy DeWindt. Thanks to Lisa Rhodes, Executive Director, for hosting a great reunion.
