Dear Mr. McCauly:

Enclosed find township maps for Mann, Duff, Reaume and Hanna Twps.

1) Mann Twp and Duff Twp:Access to Mann and Duff townships is two miles past the post office at

Tunis, Ont., on Hwy 11, to Newmarket Twp. Concession 5 fi 6. Turn left here and you go three miles due west on the old trans-Canada Hwy 11, then you keep on going west for seven miles to the steel bridge over Frederick House River. It is a new timber access road. Where the bridge is the river is called the three rapids area.

I had to restake my original nine claims in Mann Twp and four more in Duff Twp plus six more new ones in Mann Twp.

There are no outcrops in the four Duff claims. In Mann Twp the rocks are pretty well all coarse peridotites, with

pyroxenite and werlite sills, with gabbro outcropping on the east side of the river north and south of the bridge, and south of the bridge roughly 300 ft. on the west side of the river on up to the middle rapids.

I had to rearrange my summer work programme, as the companies I had contacted seemed very interested in the showings, FALCONBRIDGE - T.E.G.- PLACER DOME. This went on all summer till late fall, then they dropped their interest. In the mean time l kept prospecting all summer.

I could not do the work l had planned for Mann Twp, so I did panning and traverses north and south of the bridge.

The PGE showing is about 30 ft. north of the bridge on the west side of the river.

l have come to the conclusion that there is a kimberlite dyke or a part of a diatreme running from the Falls Wanatango down to 200 ft. north of the bridge running under the river, which gives it a length of at least 3/4 of a mile. Where else would the indicator minerals found come from?

If I cannot promote these claims l am going to drill these showings if I can afford it.

It must be the recession on now and the mining companies are tightening up on funds for exploration.

Access to Reaume Twp is, you go west two miles into Duff Twp then north 1/2 mile and west again about three miles then north about l 1/2 miles to Reaume Twp and north to the bridge over Reaume Creek. This is a new timer access road into Reaume Twp.

Page 2: Last summer if i made a deal I was interested in going up ... · Last summer if i made a deal I was interested in going up to the Reaume Creek bridge and set up a camp there, and

Last summer if i made a deal I was interested in going up to the Reaume Creek bridge and set up a camp there, and take a good look into that area. When I traversed there last summer, the rocks were interesting, pretty well all peridotites, there is a documented chromite and a micro-diamond find in the early days. Access on the old road was bad, lots of water.

Access to Hanna Twp, the same road that leaves Hwy 11 to go to Mann Twp also connects to a side road 8 miles, and then you go north for about l mile, then you drive into Hanna Twp due north for about 3 miles only in the dry summer time. It is a new timber access road, this is how I gotnto traverse in that part of Hanna Twp.

Then you can get into Hanna Twp from the steel bridge in Mann Twp by boat where I did traverses, soil testing and panning. Panning revealed negative results, and the soil samples proved not to be interesting. No new outcrops were found in my traverses.

My recommendation for this year is to do more work in Mann Twp, diamond drill and core sampling, at the same time trying to make a deal.

Sincerely Yours,

Len Hill

Timmins29 January, 1991

Dear Sir/Madam:

Enclosed find the results of my summer's prospecting.

First in Mann Township I got three major mining companies interested:

1) Total Energold were interested, they reviewed my results, but said they were looking for properties in a more advanced stage l

2) Falconbridge was interested and did fifteen channel samples of their own, and told me it definitely was anomalous, as time was going by they finally said they refused the ground - it took them about ten months to say no, maybe next year they said.

3) So I got Placer Dome interested, and they reviewed my results, and showed great interest. But after many more visits by me to see them and phone calls, they finally said they were not interested at the time. They took some samples, sent me two results, and have some more results to send. I have included these along with the Falconbridge results in this submission.

But to me this reflects to a downturn in exploration, of tough economic times.

So the reason I did not drill on the property at the time was because of the pending interest by the two majors and the work they were doing. If I cannot get no company interested, I am going to drill it myself.

So I went into Reaume Township as planned, the place of interest, and found many outcrops. But the roads are bad - flooded in many places which made the south side of the roads and bush part flooded by beavers.

Then I decided I would check out Hanna Township also. Did panning and soil tests there, these tests were on open ground.

Well that about winds it up.

Sincerely Yours,

Page 4: Last summer if i made a deal I was interested in going up ... · Last summer if i made a deal I was interested in going up to the Reaume Creek bridge and set up a camp there, and
