t tOver a period of time we have consulted parents about school uniform with the most
important question being “Do you want to have a school uniform for the Junior School?”.The response to this was overwhelmingly in favour of having a Junior School uniform.
Since receiving this mandate discussions on style eg. what the uniform will be, have beenheld at PTA, BOT, with parents and with staff. Great care has been taken to get this right,
taking into consideration:- costs for parents
- selecting durable clothing which looks good.
We have now made these decisions and ratified at Board level that our Junior Schoolstudents will be in uniform from the start of the 2013 school year.
All products will be available at Postie Plus Balclutha with the exception of:- Shoes - black leather school shoes - sandals are an option for summer
- Jerseys - these are monogramed and need to be ordered through the school libraryPhysical Education tops - we are finalising decisions on style at present and will inform
parents prior to the end of the term.

This was a journey into the unknown
as this was the first time we havecamped at Tautuku. It was a great
journey of discovery as Tautuku
proved to be a marvellous venue. The
beach, the bush, tons of activities,
busy all the time. Students had an
absolutely brilliant time meeting all of
the challenges put in front of them.
Thanks is extended to the great
bunch of camp parents and to MrHowell and Mr Watson. Well done
and thank you Miss Mikaere for
organising and leading a great camp.
