Fifty-FifthAnnual Conference
August 29–31, 2012
Las Cruces Convention Center
Las Cruces

Welcome to the City of Las Cruces!
Dear New Mexico Municipal League Attendees,
On behalf of all citizens and the Las Cruces City Council, it is with great honor that I welcome you to Las Cruces for the 2012 New Mexico Municipal League Annual Conference.
Las Cruces is a vibrant, growing community with a bright future and I hope you will have some time to enjoy the many amenities that we have to offer. The Organ Mountains to the east oversee a busy, ever expanding city nestled in the fertile Mesilla Valley, the center of cultural and commercial activity in southern New Mexico. Las Cruces offers first class museums, galleries and restaurants for you to explore, all in a beautiful setting along the meandering Rio Grande. Although our city continues to prosper and grow, we are still able to retain that warm, small-town atmosphere that I am sure you will notice during your visit.
I wish you great success with your Conference and hope your stay in Las Cruces is a pleasurable and memorable experience.
Sincerely,
Ken Miyagishima, Mayor

We’re engineering stronger communities.
Forsgren Associates is a multi-discipline civil and environmental engineering firm
that has provided services to local governments and private entities since 1962.
We are passionate about protecting and enhancing community infrastructure...
cost effectively, promptly, and sustainably.
Partnering with local governments, we solve municipal wastewater, transportation, water resources,
drinking water, and environmental services problems.
Our strategy is simple: we work closely with our clients,
find common ground among stakeholders, develop solutions always with an eye
on operation and maintenance, and provide solid value.
