• Apps and tricks
• Imovies• Stop and Go• Animation• Comic book• Youtube- How to make a movie
• Vlogging/Making short film clips for Beginners:Sunday Times STYLE Katie Service/Mme Boissel• • This is an enjoyable experience. Have fun. Learn lots. Learn how to be a member of a team. The main objective is to
have a finished film at the end.• Use natural light. It makes everything look at its best• Have a plan. Get together and plan and agree what sort of film you are making, how many characters, who is
filming/editing/planning music/sound. Know what you are going to say and do BEFORE you start filming. Keep to the point. Do not ramble. Have worked out your main scenes and know what is following.I suggest a film board with 5 scenes: Opening, development, development, development, Closing. Check there is a clear narrative/story.
• Mix it up: Vary who is speaking, shots, add some funny bits, some interesting bits. Make sure that there is a reason for what you are doing: why am I running,eating/talking etc.
• Learn how to edit or have someone on your team who understands editing. Have a look at imovies/apps on your phone/youtube. Search internet for tips/tricks:,Dos and Don’ts.
• Take your time. Do not expect your first shot to be perfect. Be prepared to refilm, change plot, add character, improve dialogue. Allow time to improve. THINK. Allow suggestions but do not descend into arguments. Have a director.
• Change something if you are not happy with it. This is not a sign of failure, instead this is a sign of reflection. Everything can be improved.
• Add interest. Get some good shots, interesting shots, interesting dialogue, good background, interesting/funny /pretty items/clothes.
• Have a finished product: A film or a vlogg• Reflect on what you have done and how you will improve next time.
