KYSER FUTSAL TOURNAMENT 2013 JULY 2013 KYSER FUTSAL CLUB RULES AND REGULATIONS The organizing committee, led by the tournament director, has the right to amend and revise the rules and regulations As much as we want this to be a social event, we are aware of the competitiveness spirit among KYSERs Details will be explained to all team captains and referees prior to the start of the tournament. Each team captain is responsible to relay the “message” to his/her team players. PLAYERS 1. Maximum of 7 players per team 2. Preferably from the same batch 3. Should the batch (team) does not have enough numbers to form a team, the team may recruit players from other batch a. To form a team, combination of players from *two (2) batches the most is allowed 4. The team may also recruit two (2) non-KYSER player. 5. KYS registration number or National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) will be used for the purpose of verification of players’ identity ON-PITCH Page 1

2. Goalkeeper may come out of the D-area and automatically becomes an outfield player

SUBSTITUTION

1. Rolling sub – players may come in and out of the pitch at any time2. Referee must be informed

GAME TIME* [*minute(s)]

1. Group stage 7 minutes one way or 6-1-6 or 7-1-72. Quarter final (QF) 6-1-6 or 7-1-73. Semi final (SF) 6-1-6 or 7-1-74. Final 8-1-8 or 10-2-10

^Knockout stages (QF, SF, and Final) – if the match ends up with a draw in normal time as above, penalty shootout (best of 3) follows. Should the match remain tied; the remaining players will take the penalty on a “goal-for-goal” basis. (Player 4A scores and 4B scores, proceed to 5th kick; if player 4A does not score and 4B does, team B wins)

TACKLE / SLIDING

1. No sliding tackle is allowed.2. Sliding to block a shot is a different matter and is allowed.

GAMEPLAY

1. Kick-off – the ball has to roll forward; direct shot on goal is allowed from kick off

2. Kick-in – if the ball goes out of play, no direct shot on goal is allowed from kick in / corner

3. Free kick - direct shot on goal is allowed4. Decisions to award kick in / corner / free kick / penalty will be solely

decided by the referee in charge

PENALTY

1. One-step rule2. If the shot is saved during normal game play, the game continues3. During penalty shootout – no rebound action.

DISCIPLINARY ISSUES *for example, fighting / provocation / calling names / racism

1. Both teams are expected to report to the referee and the referee will inform the incident to the tournament director

2. The tournament director has the final say on the consequences of any disciplinary matters
