After completion of your choice of eitheronline or paper-based* questionnaires, thedata is analysed to produce statisticallyreliable reports which monitor thechanging perceptions of parents, pupilsand staff. The Parental Survey

The Parental Survey uses a tailoredquestionnaire to report on the way pupils’parents perceive the school. A trueawareness of your school’s perceivedstrengths and weaknesses, results aremade even more meaningful by weightingthem against what parents usually say insimilar schools.

The Pupil Survey

The Pupil Survey is made compatible withyour tailored parental questionnaire,enabling you to compare and contrastwhat pupils say with what their parentsthink for all chosen criteria.

The Staff Survey

From the surveyed opinions of over two million parents, we haveidentified the following 20 areas as being important to parents atevery school. For these areas we measure importance andsatisfaction as part of every survey.

Kirkland Rowell Survey reports

Our reports provide point-by-point analysiswith evidence for your inspectionframework and include:

• a graphical analysis of all the criteriasurveyed, broken down by gender andyear group of pupils

• tables which rank the satisfactionscores achieved for all academicsubjects and non-academic topicssurveyed

• a measurement of the comparativeimportance for each of the Core 20issues surveyed

• a comparison of the percentage ofrespondents who are happy versusunhappy with the school’sperformance, in each of the academicsubjects and non-academic criteriasurveyed

• the option to analyse the results by anyother factor such as socioeconomicbackground of the pupils

• a measurement of how in tune yourteachers are with what is important toparents

• A green highlight shows that the schoolperforms well within a criterion that isimportant to parents

• A red highlight shows that the schooldoes not perform well within a criterionthat is important to parents

• The final two columns show the sameinformation for the previous survey, forcomparison.

Following the meeting, schoolsreceive a summary report of the visit.
