Why choose Kirkland Rowell Surveys?

GL Performance

GL Performance, a division of the GL Education Group, is a leading provider of managementtools and resources that are designed to maximise the impact of school inspection, self-evaluation, school development planning and school improvement in primary and secondaryschools both in the UK and worldwide. Our Kirkland Rowell stakeholder surveys form animportant part of our portfolio, providing almost 3,000 schools worldwide with an accuratestatistical model of their performance as perceived by parents, pupils and staff.

Our Stakeholder Surveys

Our Kirkland Rowell parental, pupil and staff surveys generate management data on all ofyour school’s activities, whether primary or secondary, providing you with a self-evaluationsystem which satisfies all stakeholder requirements and helps you prepare for the inspectionprocess.

After completion of your choice of either online or paper-based questionnaires, the data isanalysed to produce statistically reliable reports which monitor the changing perceptions ofparents, pupils and staff. Findings are presented in a series of easy-to-understand graphsand tables and contain a full evidence summary for your inspection framework.

Our surveys recognise that stakeholders’ expectations are different in every school.Uniquely, we weight your results against what stakeholders say in similar schools, providingyou with important benchmarked data that has true meaning and relevance. The outcome:a wealth of useful data that forms a solid baseline for your self-evaluation, helping you tomake informed, strategic decisions efficiently and with confidence.

The Parental Survey

The Parental Survey uses a tailored questionnaire to report on the way pupils’ parentsperceive the school. A true awareness of your school’s perceived strengths andweaknesses, results are made even more meaningful by weighting them against whatparents usually say in similar schools.

The Pupil Survey

The Pupil Survey is made compatible with your tailored parental questionnaire, enabling youto compare and contrast what pupils say with what their parents think for all chosen criteria.

The Staff Survey

As well as comparing and contrasting attitudes of staff with those of parents, the StaffSurvey evaluates the perceptions of teaching staff, support staff and Governors, providingthe school management team with interesting insights and comparisons. The surveyinvestigates staff-specific issues such as professional development, relationship withdepartmental head, arrangements for staff cover and staff workload. Survey results areweighted against national averages for head teachers and support staff.

Country-specific self-evaluation evidence

Kirkland Rowell Surveys contain a full evidence summary for every school’s self-evaluationworldwide. We endeavour to update our survey reports with inspection criteria changes, within 4-6 weeks of changes being announced.
