The executive, staff, students and parents have been very supportive and have made the experience rewarding.

Year 6 Farewell and Assembly

Congratulations to Year 6 who last week, celebrated their final days at Macksville Public School. Last Wednesday evening, the students had a fun and memorable occasion as we said goodbye at the Farewell Dinner. At the Graduation Ceremony last Friday, the students received their graduation certificates in front of their families and rang out their final days of Primary School on the old school bell. I wish all our Year 6 all the best for the future and the next phase of their education.

This event is another highlight of the year. Today Kindergarten will hold their Kinder Graduation and will celebrate the event with a fun Pirate Day and sausage sizzle. The children will also receive their Graduation Certificates.

Circus Troupe

Well done to our Circus Troupe who again did a brilliant job performing at the Valla

Christmas Carols, last Friday evening. This group continues to amaze me with their talents and expertise.

Classes for 2016

Our school planning for 2016 is currently underway. Knowing who is likely to be at school next year is invaluable to us in planning for classes, classroom space, teachers and other programs. In order for our planning to be as accurate as possible, would you please advise the Office as soon as possible if your child will be leaving us in 2015.

At the moment we are tentatively making classes for next year. However, there is a strong possibility that when we return, students will spend a day or two with their 2015 class while classes are organised.

Term 1 begins Wednesday 27th January for staff and Thursday 28th January for students in Year 1 to 6. I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, a happy and safe holiday and look forward to seeing everyone back in 2016. ~ Brad Griffith, Principal
