Hello and welcome to Kidogo, the app that helps you conserve energy and make a

difference in the world.

Let's find out how it works.

This is the home tab.

It shows you your daily energy savings from two days ago.

…as well as your total energy savings since you started Kidogo.

The unit of these savings is in energy points (E.Pts). 1 kilowatt hour = 10 energy points

This section shows your savings progress, relative to your goal.

The first number is how much you have saved this week.

The second number is you estimated weekly savings from energy saving actions.

To commit to doing some energy saving actions, click the "Add more actions" button.

This is the actions tab.

Here you will find a list of actions you can do to help you save energy.

Each of the actions has an estimated savings value.

Some actions you can do only once that day.

Some actions can be repeated multiple times a day. You can click these actions more than once.

Some actions provide continuous savings overtime. Committing to these actions gives you a certain amount of savings everyday for an extended period of time.

After committing an action you will see it in your "My Actions" list.

After doing these actions, you can click the "I did it" button.

Now Kidogo will estimate how much you will save that week from that action.

Committing to and completing more actions will save you more E.Pts.

Now that you are saving energy, you can donate those points to an entrepreneur of your choice by using the entrepreneur panel on the right.

Kidogo provides a picture of the entrepreneur or group of entrepreneurs.

Below that is a bar displaying the amount of points the entrepreneur has received from Kidogo users.

The first number is the total points Kidogo users have donated.

The second number is the amount of points the entrepreneur needs for their cause.

Below that, you can read specifics about the entrepreneur.

Use the arrows to scroll through the profiles of several entrepreneurs to find one whose cause appeals to you.

When you select one, click the "Commit!" button.

Now you have committed to donating the points you earn this week to that entrepreneur.

You can see how much your contribution is helping by looking at the blue arrow on the entrepreneur's donation bar.

You can use the portfolio tab to view all the entrepreneurs you have helped since you joined Kidogo.
