Corneal Topography
Is a non invasive medical imagingtechnique for color mapping the surfacecurvature of the cornea
This instrument has become for the last
years a part of the checking room Computerized Corneal Modeling System
(CMS) is used to evaluate (type and size)corneal shapes

The main problems caused bykeratoconus
Vision lossthe cornea gradually thins andbecomes misshaped. The corneasurface becomes irregular similar
to the shape of a cone from theI.O.P .
Opaque cornea
An advanced stage of the keratokonus,
where the cornea cracks andbecomes opaque, in this stage theonly solution is a corneal transplant

Fitting Tips For Soft K.
Try to use the Soft K. for all types ofdistorted cornea.
First check with Trial Lens after 30minutes and change if necessary
Final check for fitting and over refraction
after at least 2 hours. Cleaning !! Using daily cleaner & H2O2
systems
