“A man finds joy in giving an apt replyand how good is a timely word!” Proverbs 15:23 Dear Family and Friends, The power of words is amazing. They can build up or tear down, encourage or discourage, draw someone closer or drive them away. We often receive cards, notes, emails, etc., from different people (many of you) that include timely words of encouragement to our family, ministry and us. I think of this months verse and how true and good it really is. As Christians we are to be constantly building up the body of Christ and inviting the unsaved to Him. Reach out every day with a timely word. For AnnaMae and I, this month marks the beginning our 14 th year of fulltime service with DriveIn. It seems the years are flying by. We have been privileged to be involved with some amazing church, school, and missions ministries around the world in many different countries, cultures, languages, and people and see the Lord bring thousands of people to Himself using the film ministry. Still there’s so much more to do! We are presently in the process of purchasing two more Mobile Units and equipment for two more ministries in Nigeria. This past week the Lord answered our prayers through a gracious family for an additional van for U.S. ministry to replace one that is worn out (see photo). We have another new U.S. summer ministry partner, bringing our U.S. partners to four. We are still looking to the Lord to sell the Florida property and provide funds to build the ministry facility in Alabama. Our spring Board meeting is May 3031, and we are looking forward to hosting our members at our home here in Prattville. Our month started with grandson, Trenton, Sarah’s youngest, turning 3 (see photo). Samuel will be 20 on May 10, and very glad to be finished with his 2 nd year of college. He plans on working at a day camp in the Birmingham area for the summer. On the 11th, Sarah & Wes celebrate 12 yrs. of marriage. May 19, grandson, Nathan, (Rebekah’s oldest) will be 6. Joshua & Krystal will be married 3 yrs. on the 21st. There is always a reason to get together as a family! We are also busy getting things ready for an outdoor wedding at our home June 7. We are excited for our closest friend’s daughter getting married. My trip to Wisconsin was wonderful and it was special to have the two girls come along (see photo) to visit with their Gramma, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mike & Stephen will be going to Colombia, South America the end of June and will be needing about $1,200 each. If you would like to contribute to this need, please send gifts to DriveIn Ministries and designate it for “Colombia trip”. Please pray as they prepare! We are forever grateful to the Lord and you for your support through love, prayers, encouragement, gifts, etc. Many of you have supported us one time, for a year, for many years, and some since our beginning with DIM. We continue to strive to be faithful to the Lord and to you, to be and to do what He has called us to. We continue to pray for you as well for His blessings to provide, encourage, and reward you by His grace. In His service together, Mike & AnnaMae and family [email protected] 1321 Upper Kingston Rd Prattville, AL 36067 h 334.316.1227, w 334.361.1660 www.driveinministries.com
