Keeping Up with the Joneses June 2015 “The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1 Dear Family & Friends, This month’s verse brings special memories for me, as it was a favorite of my great grandmother’s (on my mother’s side). She was a very godly woman who spent much time in the Word and hours in prayer. Many times she would have me read this Psalm when I would come to her house on weekends during my Bible college years. She would share its truths through experiences in her life and instill them into mine. Encouraging other believers in God’s Word gives light, strength, courage, and comfort that will be learned and remembered and passed along. This month takes us in many directions, assisting our U.S. partners in getting started with summer ministry, exploring our options for what we can do to get some ministry going at the new property this summer, conducting movie meetings, working with Stephen (summer intern) in and out of the office, and sending he and Samuel on a mission trip June 19-July 4 to Colombia, S America, without me. Thank you for your support financially and in prayer as they go. All the money for their tickets has come in and Stephen has all but $1,200 of his internship funds. He will be working part time at Chick fil A, as well as part time with Drive-In. Then on July 4, a group from Colombia, S. A. will come to Alabama to visit Drive- In and enjoy some ministry and fellowship with us and a couple of churches in our area. It will be our privilege to host them in our home for a week and “show them around.” The board meeting last month (photo on left) was a blessed and profitable time. We rejoiced together over reports of God working through Drive-In around the world and sought the Lord together in prayer and discussion for wisdom and direction.

Keeping Up with the Joneses June 2015 The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

Dear Family & Friends,

This months verse brings special memories for me, as it was a favorite of my great grandmothers (on my mothers side). She was a very godly woman who spent much time in the Word and hours in prayer. Many times she would have me read this Psalm when I would come to her house on weekends during my Bible college years. She would share its truths through experiences in her life and instill them into mine. Encouraging other believers in Gods Word gives light, strength, courage, and comfort that will be learned and remembered and passed along.

A. will come to Alabama to visit Drive-In and enjoy some ministry and fellowship with us and a couple of churches in our area. It will be our privilege to host them in our home for a week and show them around. The board meeting last month (photo on left) was a blessed and profitable time. We rejoiced together over reports of God working through Drive-In around the world and sought the Lord together in prayer and discussion for wisdom and direction.

Family news: Photos are of Trenton (left), Samuel (top right) and Nathans birthdays, and Josephs end of the year school sports awards (bottom right). We still enjoy thinking of our grandson, Tate, who would have been four (same as Trenton) this month. Stephen will be 23 on the 8th and Krystals birthday is the 29th. Mike & I celebrate 35 years of marriage on the 21st and have decided to take a trip to Niagara Falls for a few days to celebrate.

Mid-May through mid-August is our peak time of summer ministry. We take great encouragement and comfort knowing you all pray for us and support us so faithfully during this time, as always. Thank you for being there for us, reading our letters, showing personal interest in the ministry and our family, asking about trips and things coming up, sending us notes, and special gifts. We are very blessed through you and pray the Lords special blessings for you too.
