    As a Director appointed by Ateeq Shah at Punjab Youth Festival my primary

    duties were to put an interesting and appealing festival program together. This may

    involve collaborating with a committee or other people connected with the festival.

    Scouting and recruiting good talent is the first priority. The ability to recruit talent

    is obviously dependent upon the festival budget. In addition to the talent, anothercrucial factor is the theme or underlying ideas of the festival. As a director my job

    is to bring creative and new ideas to the job, rather than relying on old and worn out

    ideas.

    Coordinate inflow of press and promotional materials of invited Festival artists,

    scheduling, and confirmation of guests, b) along with Program team, devise

    Festival Week production flowchart encompassing screening times, hosting

    assignments, volunteer and personnel assignments, equipment delivery/pick-up,

    etc., in coordination with the Festival Volunteer and Technical Coordinators d)

    assist with assembling and updating Festival production workbook containing

    flowcharts and schedules

    In my normal day my job is to monitor the web tv live broadcast, monitor & direct

    the video edits of the live events, have the tickers updated for the live broadcast.

    Before the live event my job as a director is to assist Ateeq Shah for setting up

    the stage, lights, camera mounting, live broadcast setup & sound setup.

    On live events my job is to make sure that all the live feed is working properly.

    Working as right hand man for Naeem Hanif to make sure all the artists follow

    the que sheet (as approved by sports board DG Uman Anwar.Photography of the live events, provide a secure entry & exit of all aritsts.

    Cordinating with the sound engineer to make sure everything works seamlessly &

    on track. Since punjab sports board conducts events on a such a large scale, many

    media channels requests for its live coverage. As a director my job is to ensure that

    all the media channels are been treated with respect & professionalism. Durning the

    event my job is also to make sure that no unauthorize personal enters the boundary

    while the artist are performing or any board memebers are addressing to the nation.

    Duties:

    During pre-production, break down the script into a shot-by-shot storyboard, and

    work with the Director to determine the shoot order, and how long each scene willtake to film. Once the film is in production, in charge of making sure that every

    aspect of the shoot keeps to this schedule.

    Responsibilities

    Main duties were assisting the Director, co-ordinating all production activity, and

    supervising the cast and crew. In charge of a department of other Assistant

    Directors and Runners. Overall, they provide the key link between the Director, the

    cast and the crew, whilst also liaising with the production office, and providing

    regular progress reports about the shoot.

    Before the shoot, main task is to create the filming schedule, working in careful

    consultation with the Director in order to fulfil his or her creative ambitions.

    Core Responsibility is to keep filming on schedule by driving it forward,

    frequently make announcements and give directions to co-ordinate the cast and

    crew. Controling discipline on the set, supervise the other Assistant Directors, and

    oversee the preparation of the daily 'call sheet' (a document detailing daily shooting

    logistics, which is distributed to all cast and crew). Also responsible for health and

    safety on set or location, and must take action to eliminate or minimise hazards at

    all times.

    Skills: Exceptional organisational and time-management skills. Ability to plan

    ahead, trouble-shoot and pay close attention to detail is vital in this role. Being an

    excellent communicator, with tact and diplomacy skills, working under highly

    pressurised and stressful conditions, a flexible and positive approach is highly

    valued.
