Taking Performance To High Altitudes.Several of the K Series engines are designed for high-

altitude applications as well. The K2000E, with two-stage

turbocharging, delivers high performance at altitudes up

to 12,000 feet (3,658 meters). The K1500E, with its

single-pump, dual-loop system, delivers full power

output up to 8,000 feet (2,438 meters).

Holset Turbochargers The K1500E features a Holset HX80 with charge air cooling for high-pressure

applications, HC5A for low-pressure stage. The K2000E

features two-stage Holset HT1000 turbocharging. The

KTA38 features four exhaust gas driven turbochargers
