1st Day : Scavenger HuntWe asked questions to people in downtown Monterey.We got a map of the city.We walked to and from campus. We had lunch.We talked with our host families.

Day 2We learned about pollution. We sang Top of the World.We painted the storm drains.We picked up garbage on the beach.

Day 3:

We practiced our song and learned Some new expressions.We met the mayor of Monterey.We visited Colton Hall. We visited the Cooper-Molera Adobe.We saw a rooster and a sheep.We ate ice cream.

Day 5We sang our song.We typed our scripts on the computer. We went hiking at Point Lobos.We learned about the history of Point Lobos.We saw a harbor seal, otter, a snake a blue heron, and squirrels.

On the weekend:

We went to the aquarium.We went to the amusement park in Santa Cruz. We went to Raging Waters. We went to Big Sur to the river.We went to the Turkish festival. We went to a familys house.

Day 6We practiced our skits.We went to Del Monte Shopping Center.We bought clothes, Starbucks and ice cream.

Day 7 We practiced our skits.We went to Cannery Row and Fishermans Wharf.We learned about the history of Cannery Row.We also learned about John Steinbeck, who is a writer. He wrote many novels and short stories.

Day 8We went to Monterey High School.We talked to the high school students.We went to Bay View Elementary School. We sang our song for the children.We taught origami to the children.

Day 9We practiced our skits and our song.We went to the Farmers Market at MPC.We bought flowers, sweets, like caramel apples, and brownies.

Day 10: Farewell Party We prepared for the Farewell Party.We are giving our presentations today.
