- Read through all of the instructions before beginning.- All of the seam allowances are 1/4” unless otherwise noted.- Press seam allowances open unless otherwise noted. - Width of fabric (WOF) is equal to at least 42” wide.- Right sides together has been abbreviated to RST.- Remember to measure twice and cut once!

From Fabric A, fussy cut:one 22” x 32-1/2” center panel

From Fabric B, cut:two 1-3/4” x WOF strips. Subcut:

two 1-3/4” x 32-1/2” side Border 1 piecestwo 1-1/2” x WOF strips. Subcut:

two 1-1/2” x 24-1/2” top/bottom Border 1 piecesone 1-3/8” x WOF strip. Subcut:

twenty-eight 1-3/8” squares for the pieced Blocks

From Fabric C, cut:eleven 1-1/2” x WOF strips. Subcut:

two 1-1/2” x 32-1/2” top/bottom Border 2 piecestwo 1-1/2” x 40-1/2” side Border 2 piecesone 1-1/2” x 25-1/2” stripone 1-1/2” x 34-1/2” stripSew the remaining five strips together, end-to-end, then trim:two 1-1/2” x 47-1/2” side Border 4 piecestwo 1-1/2” x 39-1/2” top/bottom Border 4 pieces

From Fabric D, cut:four 3” x WOF strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then trim:

two 3” x 37-1/2” top/bottom Border 3 piecestwo 3” x 42-1/2” side Border 3 pieces

From Fabric E, cut:five 4-1/2” x WOF strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then trim:

two 4-1/2” x 47-1/2” top/bottom Border 5 piecestwo 4-1/2” x 49-1/2” side Border 5 pieces

From Fabric F, cut:three 3-3/8” x WOF strips. Subcut:

twenty-six 3-3/8” squares. Cut each square in half once along a diagonal.

From Fabric G, cut:one 1-3/8” x WOF strip. Subcut:

twenty-eight 1-3/8” squares for the pieced Blocks

From Fabric H, cut:one 1-3/8” x WOF strips. Subcut: twenty-four 1-3/8” squares for the pieced Blockssix 2-1/2” x WOF strips (for binding)

From Fabric I, cut:one 1-3/8” x WOF strip. Subcut:

twenty-four 1-3/8” squares for the pieced Blocks

From Fabric J, cut:four 1-3/8” x WOF strips. Subcut:

one-hundred-four 1-3/8” squares for the pieced Blocks

Step 1: Gather:four Fabric F triangles

four Fabric H squares

four Fabric I squares

eight Fabric J squares

Arrange the squares into four rows of four. Note the fabric placement in the Block Assembly Diagram.

Assemble the A Blocks

Step 2: Sew the squares together to form the rows. Press the seams in opposite directions every other row.

Step 3: Sew the rows together, nesting the seams and pressing the seams to one side to form the block.

Step 4: Center and sew the long edge of a Fabric F triangle to each edge of the pieced block center. Press toward the triangle.

Step 5: Trim the Block to 5-1/2” square. Repeat to make six A Blocks.

Assemble the B Blocks

Step 6: Gather:four Fabric F triangles

four Fabric G squares

four Fabric B squares

eight Fabric J squares

Step 9: Center and sew the long edge of a Fabric F triangle to each edge of the pieced block center. Press toward the triangle.

Step 10: Trim the Block to 5-1/2” square. Repeat to make seven B Blocks.

Step 11: Sew the side Border 1 strips to the left and right edges of the Fabric A center panel. Press toward the strips. Sew the top/bottom Border 1 strips to the Fabric A center panel. Press toward the strips.

Step 12: Sew the side 34-1/2” long Fabric C strip to the left edge of the quilt center. Press toward the strip. Sew the side 25-1/2” long Fabric C strip to the bottom edge of the quilt center. Press toward the strip.

Assemble the Quilt

Step 13: Gather three B Blocks and two A Blocks and sew together (in B-A-B-A-B order) to form a row. Press. Sew to the bottom edge of the quilt center. Press.

Step 14: Gather four B Blocks and four A Blocks and sew together (in B-A-B-A-B-A-B-A order) to form a column. Press. Sew to the left edge of the quilt center, ensuring that a B Block is at the top of the quilt. Press.

Step 15: Sew the side Border 2 strips to the left and right edges of the quilt center. Press toward the strips. Sew the top/bottom Border 2 strips to the quilt center. Press toward the strips.

Step 16: Sew the side Border 3 strips to the left and right edges of the quilt center. Press toward the strips. Sew the top/bottom Border 3 strips to the quilt center. Press toward the strips.

Step 17: Sew the side Border 4 strips to the left and right edges of the quilt center. Press toward the strips. Sew the top/bottom Border 4 strips to the quilt center. Press toward the strips.

Step 18: Sew the side Border 5 strips to the left and right edges of the quilt center. Press toward the strips. Sew the top/bottom Border 5 strips to the quilt center. Press toward the strips.

Your quilt top is complete! Baste, quilt, bind and enjoy!
