Our gathering for October will welcome a speaker from the Denton Humane Society, Jackie Bruce. She will speak to us about the foundation and the need for mature volunteers to come and love the furry residents who are longing for social interaction. With the ground breaking on the new animal center, things are full of promise but there are opportunities for those in our group who do not want a pet of there own but could open their hearts to walk a dog or pet a cat.
