Passing of the Gavel I will keep my remarks brief, however I feel it is important to remember every-thing that we have achieved this year by working together as a team. I believe that every member of this organization contributed and will continue to contrib-ute to our success. You have definitely been an asset to the community as recog-nized by receiving this year’s Volunteer Spirit Award. We contributed funds to and assisted many great local, national and international charities in need. I would like to thank all the members and especially the board members who helped make my time as Senior Regent an amazing experience. You are truly giving individuals and are a joy to work with. Also, a special thanks to the lodge and members of the district for their expertise and support this year. My final thanks go to my family, Danny and Brandon, who made several trips to Murfreesboro, strung balloons, carried boxes, and sacrificed their own interest to support and assist me throughout this year. Please join me in full support of our next Senior Regent, Jan Kiker, who I know will lead us in the positive direction this organization has enjoyed during the past number of years. Thank you for your continued commitment to the Women of the Moose! Robin Chapman, Jr Graduate Regent

Every Thursday, Mary Ann Gray, Charlotte Peters, Nancy Burns and Gerrie Richard visit each of the nursing homes and assisted living facilities to share their time and hugs. Many of the residents at the local nursing home and as-sisted living facilities have no family or relatives who live close enough to visit on a regular basis. It became clear after initial visit that this area was an area in which they could do the most with their efforts. The residents have come to expect and voice their concern when Thursday rolls around and they have not come by. The residents enjoy sitting with their ladies, sharing infor-mation about their families and life experience with each visit ending with a special hug. Community Service is an integral part of the Women of the Moose and they have gone above and beyond. To see the joy and smile that they bring to the residents says it all. They have received numerous cards and letters from the residents, their family and the facilities in which they pay their weekly visit. they received a beautiful plaque which is dis-played in the foyer and $200 to donate to the organization of their choice. THANK YOU LADIES for serving as role models of the principles of the WOTM: Faith, Hope and Charity. We could not be any prouder!
