The Moosefest just wrapped up and it's time to get this newsletter out to you. It was a great (but tiring) event. The pavilion area was packed all weekend with good food, good music, and lots of fun things to do. Everyone I talked to said they had one of the best times ever, even with the rain on Friday, but it was nice the rest of the time. The committee put on a wonderful event and the volunteers were top notch as always. Congratulations to every one who helped out, you're the best. The month will start out a little slow but picks up towards the end.July 1st we have a float in the parade! If you see Paul Baumeister around the lodge be sure to thank him for putting the float together. He did mostly by himself. The float will be in Division 5, when he comes by you, give him a big Moose Cheer! Way to go Paul!I will be at the convention from July 11-15 in New Orleans. These conventions are very informative and we can get some great ideas from our brothers and sisters from the fraternity.July 14 we will be having Rockin Russ entertaining us like only he can. The fun starts at 7:00 pm. Should be a great time.July 21st we will be having a balloon pop and moose races starting at 7:00 pm. This is always a fun time. See you there.July 22nd is our lodge golf outing. We may still have some openings so contact Diane Gastaldi about any openings. Do it today, time is running out. $65 per person is the cost with a cart. Sign up sheet and information is on the bulletin board in the lodge front hallway. July 27th is a cigar smoker out at the pavilion. Only enough cigars for 30 people, so sign up now before it fills up. Don't miss out.July 28th is Dells days at Noahs Ark in Wisconsin Dells. We have discount tickets to get down to the lodge and get your entry blanks to send in. It will be a great time and we can have fun with the kids from Mooseheart. Don't miss out on this great event. The Moose State Golf outing is August 11th. Entry blanks are on the bulletin board in the front hallway. Deadline is coming up fast.August 25th we will be having a Kickball Tournament for all you young at heart members and friends. Sign up sheet is coming soon.August 26th is our Moose Family Picnic. This year we are opening it up for members and qualified guests. See the back page for more information.Fraternally yoursRichard Smart, Administrator.

The year has started off great! Our membership signing is up from last year at this time and we are moving forward very strong. Lets keep up the good work and sign up your friends and family so they can have a great time with us here at the lodge. We just got done with our Moosefest and what a great time we had. The bands were great, food was great and the weather even though it started out a little wet it turned out to be wonderful weekend. I want to thank all the great members and volunteers who stepped up and helped us put on a great weekend. Without all your help we could not have had such a great event. I hope you had a great time, I know I did working with all of you, you rock. And kudos to the Moosefest committee who put this all together. Everything worked out great and your input made this another successful Moosefest. Let's get going on next years event, and anyone who wants to help just contact myself or anyone on the committee. We can rock it bigger next year.International Convention is coming up next month and I hope I can bring back some great ideas from other lodge on what they do to get their members more involved. The best part of going is meeting lodge and chapter members from all over the country. They are some of the nicest people around and we have fun. So I hope to see you all here at the lodge very soon. If you have a idea we can try let me know. My office door is always open for you and new ideas.Millenially yours; Your Gov, Joe Matteucci

I wish you all a happy and safe 4th of July. Enjoy and celebrate with family and friends. The WOTM will have a meeting on July 3rd, but we will move the activity to the 3rd Tuesday to make sure more coworkers will be at the meeting to enjoy the activity planned for July.
The Kenosha Lodge will be closed on Wed, July 4th, which means there will be NO Bingo.
The Moose International Convention is July 11th-15th in New Orleans. I am looking forward to attending my 1st International Convention this year. Because of coworkers being gone on July 11th, we could use some extra help in the kitchen.
Our 2nd Annual Moose Fest is in the books. Even though the grounds were wet, we still had a great weekend and everyone had a lot of fun. I hope you were able to make it out to listen to some wonderful bands, enjoy some great food and have a lot of fun!
Our Volunteer Coworker of the Month for July is Kellee Abozoglai. Congratulations to Kellee! We appreciate everything you do!
I would love to see you at one of our meetings which are held on the First and Third Tuesdays at 7 PM. The Lucky Lady raffle was won by Patti Mason so she won a $10 voucher to use at Victoria's Care in the Lodge.
On July 28th, we will be hosting a WOTM training. Everyone is welcome to attend. Diana Reed will be the session leader in Kenosha. Let me know if you would like to attend or if you have any questions about the training. Please let us know ASAP so we can get a count to Diana and so we will have enough food for lunch. The training is $10 and lunch will be $5.
Sincerely,
Joanne Horner, Senior Regent
