COVER OUR SCHOOLS: PRAYER WALK

This august we are going to organize a prayer walk through the schools in our county. It is important that the biggest organization in our community know that they have the support of the local church.

We hope to work with school administration to allow us to walk the halls of the schools and pray for rooms and areas specifically. We hope to have

teachers and staff place prayer requests on their doors so we can pray for them in detail.

Each participant will be given a stack of post-it notes to place thoughts and p r a y e r s o n t h e d o o r s a s encouragement. Can you imagine a teacher coming to work the next day with his/her door completely covered with post-it notes!!

If you are anything like me you love for summer to get here but sometime after Independence day when the temps rise into the triple digits for days on end you begin to long for the crisp winds of fall to arrive.

This fall will be Mosaic’s FIRST fall kickoff. As everything begins to settle into a routine with school starting and days getting shorter and football we will be launching out first fall season as a church. We want to utilize this time to reach out to the community and invite everyone who might not be attending a church to come and see what God is doing at Mosaic. We also want to encourage you to begin to think and pray about friends and neighbors that might like not be plugged into a church and reach out to them. Who will you Invite this Fall? We know that they will love it at Mosaic, so that is out fall slogan: Mosaic Community Church You’ll love it here!

Believe is a high-energy weekend event for Jr. high students only. It's structured specifically for Jr. high students and is packed with powerful worship and teaching from God's Word.

While at Believe, students not only worship together but also engage in life-challenging discussions with their peers and adult leaders. As they go through the weekend, they discover ways in which God is calling them to be Kingdom workers in their schools, communities and the world.

WHY JR. HIGH STUDENTS?Jr. high students are at a unique moment in their lives. They're growing and learning differently than any other age group. They're still young enough to need to play, but they're old enough to start grabbing

onto some core ideals that will stay with them the rest of their lives.

A lot of times Jr. high students have more pressures on them to perform and more demands on their attention than any other age group. They're expected to be older than they actually are. At Believe we want to give these students the chance to have fun and enjoy spending time with their peers, while also challenging them with age-appropriate ideals that will help them embrace Christ's call on their lives to be Kingdom workers. Believe is their chance to be exactly who they are – to play, listen and learn as themselves.
