The next upcoming BOD meeting will be held on Monday, August 8th at 7pm at the same location. The monthly Chapter Dinner meeting will be held at the Kings Fork Community House on Wednesday, July 20th, at 7pm. The dinner menu will be barbecued chicken, potato salad, cole slaw, rolls, iced tea, ice cream, and cookies. Kelly Morris, Wildlife Biologist, will be our guest speaker. She will give a presentation on the Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge's RCW (RedCockaded Woodpecker) project. Newest Members Scholarship Raffle Drawing Reminder: please turn in all scholarship raffle tickets/monies no later than the night of the raffle drawing which will be held at this month's chapter dinner meeting. Recipe of the Month shy Seafood Spaghetti SauceThis is an easyshytoshymake seafood spaghetti sauce recipe that tastes really really good This recipe comes infour varieties

Red Clam Sauce

Saute 2 medium onions in 2 tbsp olive oil until tender Add 2 cloves of minced garlic 1 can crushed tomato14 can of water salt pepper and crushed red pepper(to taste) and 12 c fresh chopped parsley Simmer for1 hour Add drained clam juice from 6 chowder clamsand water if needed bring to a boil Add choppedclams right before serving Serve over pasta

White Clam SauceSaute 2 cloves of minced garlic in 34 c of olive oil Addsalt pepper 12 c of white wine Cook briefly Add 1tbsp of parsley and add strained juice from 6 chowderclams Right before serving add the minced clams Serve over pasta
