Career OverviewDetective Chief Inspector/Detective Inspector Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Newham Borough 2012 -2015Senior Detective managing, with budgetary overview, over 100 staff, investigating a diversity of serious crime within the London Borough of Newham; including offences of serious assault, threats to life & sexual offences. Leading on the most serious incidents, through investigative strategies, risk management & partnership. Directing variety of proactive investigations utilising both overt & covert techniques.Responsible for the management of over 300 Registered Sex Offenders living within the London Borough of Newham; chairing Multi-Agency Public Protection meetings managing those most dangerous individuals in the community.Crime lead for all Public Order Events within LB Newham including West Ham United Football Club and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.Responsible for organisational restructuring of CID & assets: identifying training requirements & implementation.
