Youth Sports and Physical Education and its initiatives To develop and strong working relationships with partners, stakeholders, etc. To maintain records and produce written reports that effectively captures project status over the duration of the project. To conduct a continuous evaluation of the program by doing monthly and quarterly evaluations To evaluate and monitor projects and activities using clearly defined performance indicators To attend local, regional and national meetings, seminars, conferences etc as per necessary To liaise with clubs and other relevant agencies to facilitate best practice in club management, youth sport coaching, youth development and related issues. To prepare and produce letters, proposals and budgets as per necessary. INTERN – GAME ON! YOUTH SPORTS AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Criteria/Person Specification Qualities Essential Desirable

Knowledge and Experience

Knowledge of planning and management

Previous experience of working with people in the community

Experience of developing and managing sports development programmes

Minimum of three years experience of working in a sport environment

Experience supervising staff

Volunteerism

Background in coaching or community development

Knowledge of policies regarding child protection and safe guarding of children

Skills Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to communicate effectively with all sections of the community

Possess good interpersonal skills

Ability to work to deadlines and targets

Flexible and adaptable

The ability to contribute to and work effectively within a team environment

Ability to work under own initiative

Ability to prioritize and organize own workload in an effective and accurate manner, whilst working within broad guidelines
