STAFF PICNIC “KINGDOM OF DREAMS” – 27.04.2012

Jagan Institute of Management Studies organized a staff picnic to “Kingdom of Dreams “on Friday 27th April, 2012. The staff members of All Jims Campuses were a part of this picnic and got a chance to interact with each other. They were highly motivated and thrilled to be a part of this funfilled picnic. As the name suggests “Kingdom of Dreams” is an actual visual paradise which takes a person into a world of the ancient kings & queens. The charismatic charm of the place is mounted up with the colorful instincts which the walls and ceilings

have upon them. The place is a visual replica of Mini India for international as well as Indian tourist. The picnic commenced by a humble and a warm welcome by the Punjabi Singers. The venue was decked up with large artifacts and had thematic backgrounds. The staff visited “Cultural Gully “which depicts the real life cultures with live music, food and dance by the artist. The staff danced to the tunes of traditional folk music like the Banjara, & Kathak Dance. They also indulged in Bhangra dance along with the artist of the cultural programme. The magnificent interiors and artifacts tempted the staff to click

pictures. They were all thrilled and relaxed to enter into the world of imagination. The staff indulged in fun games and tattoo making at the counters displayed. The picnic was a delight and an experience of rejuvenation for the Staff & Faculty.

The place had various shopping counters of different states & cultural backgrounds; they also had a taste of every background of interest. There were 14 taste soothing food counters which had a taste of all the cultures and traditional food. JIMS Fraternity had an ultimate food experience as multiple cuisines were available for their taste

buds. All the counters were decorated and represented the state which they belong to; the staff did traditional shopping from them. The place had an amazing aura of design and sophisticated décor. JIMS Fraternity enjoyed the replica of true Indian cultural heritage with a spice of entertainment. They also visited the IIFA BUZZ CAFÉ which gave them a pinch of bollywood touch to the place. It was a breakthrough from a hectic schedule as JIMS Staff & Faculty got a fabulous & entertaining get together. The staff response was heartfelt and a memorable experience for the JIMS staff & Faculty.

The freshness and the vibrancy of the place created a mood of self enjoyment amongst the staff. Overall it was a stress buster, funfilled picnic and was much appreciated by the staff and faculty members.
