■Technical CooperationTechnical Cooperation supports the development of human resources that will promote socioeconomic development in developing countries, the improvement of technical standards, and the establishment of administrative systems by utilizing the knowledge, experience, and technologies of Japan.

■Grant AidGrants provide funds to developing countries with low income levels without the obligation of repayment. It is used to finance the development of basic infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, water-supply facilities, and roads, as well as the procurement of equipment and other supplies.

■Loan AidODA Loans support developing countries above a certain income level by providing low-interest, long-term, and conces-sional funds to develop chiefly the area of socioeconomic infrastructure.

Furthermore, JICA supports the resolution of issues in develop-ing countries through a flexible combination of various types of assistances, which include Dispatch of Volunteers, JICA Partner-ship Program with NGOs and Training Program in Japan.
