Jennifer studied at Universities GadjahMada (UGM) and Muhammadiyah
(UMM) in 2002.
After ACICIS she won a RhodesScholarship to study at Oxford
University in 2006.
Jennifer is currently doing a PhD in International Law and hopes to have
a career in international dispute resolution and human rights in the
Asia-Pacific.

Simon took part in the 2008 JournalismProfessional Practicum program in
Jakarta.
His internship was at radio station 68H,and he did several on air stories.
Simon is now back in Sydney finishinghis Masters in Journalism degree.

In 2007 Rebecca studied IslamicBusiness at the Indonesian Islamic
University (UII) in Yogyakarta.
Whilst there she also did an internshipat a refuge for street children.
She is currently looking for a mediaposition with an NGO in Indonesia.
“My experience in Indonesia has beenthe most valuable year of my life to date.”

Deanne studied at UGM and UMM in2002/3. She wrote her Malang field
report on street children in Yogyakarta.
After ACICIS she worked as atranslator/editor for an NGO in Jakarta
called Rahima.
Deanne is now a Features DeputyEditor with The Jakarta Post, rubbingshoulders with celebrities like Nicolas
Saputra (right).
